Yea I prefer the slimmer ssj4 design. I dont really know how to say it but after the cell saga, it just made sense that future forms would be more about compressing and controlling their powers rather than just increasing it. In general, although i prefer the slimmer look, I gotta say it would look weird for certain characters/forms *Vegeta/ssj3*

I just like SSG for simplicity's sake, plus it reminded me of teen goku.

It made sense probably due to the fact that SS2 was a form only Gohan could effectively perfect because it required a balance of power and speed. Previously with Trunks and Vegeta, they were focused on power, creating those large, muscular forms. So it does make sense for forms to be less taxing and more balanced in that way onward.

Didn't expect Frost to be THAT weak. Hopefully the other fighters are actually able to put up a decent fight. Glad to see Pooh Bear's fight was relatively quick. Also, wtf happened at the end?

Frost has holes in his wrist so it is speculated he poisoned Goku after that punch hence why they did a close-up and there was a flash. I have not seen it just yet (where are you watching it?) but I'm part of the discussions each week on /r/DBZ. I saw it on go go anime. I was reading some comments on the video's page and supposedly Frost is evil and there's some trickery afoot. I hope it's not true cuz we just had Frieza and I don't want another one so soon.

No, he is apparently a hero in his universe. He was regarded as a great close range fighter so this contact poison may be why. I'm going to edit the discussion thread in to this reply in a second. There's a lot of information there and translations.

Translators over on /r/DBZ say Frost is a hero who leads a peacemaking force and he has won the Universe Peace Prize in his universe.

This makes sense as saiyans are also a peacemaking race in U6, opposites to what we know. That guy's "info" is conflicting and strange at best. I guess we'll see.

Well yeah it's been explained that every universe has a mirror universe so all the good guys are bad guys and vice versa

I did and they mentioned in the episode itself that Frost is good and I have no reason to doubt that. Him being evil would be too wack even for Toriyama. I guess the poisoning theory is the best one. At first I figured Goku threw the fight since I could definitley see him doing that.

i kinda wish they had just made Frost kick Goku's ass. Like Goku thinks he has the battle won since he is still confident from defeating Freeza, leading him to not take Frost so seriously. then Frost completely dominates Goku & tosses him out the ring

Freeza at his maximum was able to keep up with SSG Goku (albeit briefly), so Frost should be the same. He should've been maxed out like Golden Freeza was. otherwise that fight was a disappointment

I thought Frost would be even stronger, hell, a lot stronger than Frieza because he seemed to train unlike Frieza but this is apparently not the case.

I don't think we know enough about their universe to determine that just yet to be honest. They apparently require a peacemaking force so it's not like it's all rainbows and fun times over there. Just because the bad is good over there doesn't mean there is no bad. I wonder how strong Hit is.

well YEAH! Recall what Beerus told Goku after their fight, how there was much more powerful beings in the other universes? and the fact that since U6 & U7 are basically mirrors of each other, wouldn't that also mean the fighters would be pretty much equal in strength? at least, that's what I was expecting from this arc

@Crisis unless monaka does some ridiculous display of overwhelming power, I'll be taking that comment about more powerful beings with a grain of salt.

I didnt expect much from the u6 guys and I still dont. I see them as people that goku would have fun fighting(cuz you know, goku would power down for the sake of a fair and even fight) but vegeta would wreck.

Well the good thing about Frost being weak is that Piccolo and him can actually have a good fight. Just goes to show how Goku would've absolutely slaughtered Frost if Piccolo could keep up with him.
