Usually when a good majority of viewers hate something, it's ****. I know enough about Super without watching it to have a valid opinion.

That's horrible. You should want to formulate your own opinion from your own experiences...if everyone went off of how others perceive something, we would hardly ever have varying opinions. I'm watching it and there are bad and good points. It's great that the DB world is expanding with these new universes and it's something fresh and new but the animation both suffers and shines in some episodes. These in no way break the show though imo.

You didn't fully read what I said. I know a good amount about it to have my own opinion of it. The nipple guy alone is already a nail in Super's coffin. I don't need to watch every single episode of it to know whether to know if it's good or not.

So did anyone order PCE Trunks from Anime-Island? That was one of the last 2 orders I have with them. Got the notice to pay at the end of last week, paid promptly on receiving the notice but still didn't get a notification that it is being delivered. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to email them a reminder that I paid for an order and want it shipped...

Trunks and Bruce Lee are the last two orders I placed with them. Going with Toyz for pre-orders from now on, eBay for anything else.

People are salty that it's not exactly what they hyped it up to be. I'm very happy to watch new episodes week after week and just enjoy it for being more Dragon Ball. It's not like they are destroying the old series. The people who want nothing more than the old series status quo can still throw in the Blu-Rays or DVD's of whatever they want to watch.

I'm just critical of specific plot decisions Toei/Toriyama are making, not the overall series itself. Such as the decision to keep Goten/Trunks as small children & background characters, not developing the Super Saiyan God mythos further, a non-coherent timeline, etc. It seems, to me at least, that they're just making this stuff up as they go along without adding substance to it that I would like to see. I feel like Dragon Ball has always been missing someone that knows how to connect all the dots in a cohesive way. It's always just haphazard & contradictory. Wasn't it an established rule that the Shenron can only resurrect people that died within a year prior? Frieza was killed well over a decade prior to his resurrection, but it doesn't matter anymore. It's stuff like that, even the episodes that the films were based on can't even be cohesive

Sometimes you need someone in your ear to say "nah, lets try something else," otherwise decisions like midichlorians & Jar Jar get made

I was going to preorder him with toyz but saw that the next available batch would be April-May, so I went with bbts, I paid about $20 more then I would do with toyz but recieved him a week after I bought him from bbts, toyz recently have been short on figures so I may go with bbts for preorders from now on (sucks I'm going to have to pay more but they're pretty great on actually having figures in stock, oh and wtf is up with the $2 collecters fee? Aren't we all supposed to get the best mint condition figure/box they have for our $40+?)

Regardless, I would take all the hate it gives with a grain of salt. it's the internet, and it's by it's own fault an echo chamber of people who want to complain the loudest ( Even when they haven't even consumed any of the media that they are hating on ).

As for Anime-Island, I have Trunks pre-ordered from them as well as Beerus still. The last of my pre-orders with them. I paid in full at the start though, so I haven't gotten any kind of notification of his release. Last I had seen though, it was estimating a March 30th release. It seems they updated it to the 11th now as been noted.

Beerus is still tentatively April 30th from them. We shall see if that shakes out.

Man they way you guys have been talking about DBS keeps getting me less and less excited for the English dub

Man, you don't have to get less excited for it!!

Trust me, the anime has its ups and downs, but it still okay at the moment.

It's just the hype... Just look at the scenario, after so many years, Toriyama appears out of nowhere saying "wazzup heres the new dragon ball you wanted!" and no one was actually expecting it... Then what we expect is something real great, but it seems like he is playing "safe" you know, and he is not giving what the public wants... I know he has his own mind and way of seeing things and if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have Dragon Ball at all... But on the other hand instead, they should consider what people actually want.

To be really honest, is not even what people want, because sometimes people have crazy desires and everyone can have a different opinion, but it should be something with more sense you know, or epic and great like Dragon Ball deserve...

Once again, it is japan company mindset... They have the best quality in a lot of things, but that's how they roll...

We want Majin Vegeta, the old crew and a lot of other figures, Tamashi gives us whatever they want.

We want DBS to have more sense, explore the whole vast universe that they gave to us and older characters such as Vegeta, Piccolo and Gohan to shine again, because we not only love Goku, we love other characters as well, yet they give us whatever they want.

I feel the same deception for both companies, and I see the same pattern repeting itself.

Not to condone the horrible quality of that episode, but not only has it since been updated and made better, but none of the other episodes are anywhere near that bad.

Exactly my point. If you want to base your opinion only on another person's opinion, don't be surprised when you cannot properly support it with proper examples.
