after Goku fought Beerus & had to basically forfeit, Beerus tells him that he's only the 2nd strongest he's ever fought, the first being revealed to be his martial arts teacher Whis. Then he contradicts himself by saying Monaka is the strongest person he's ever fought. So is Goku the 3rd strongest, or is Monaka on par with Whis, or what? See what I mean, they're flipflopping more than Donald Trump

Granted Monaka technically didn't exist when Battle of Gods was made, but still. Just another example of Toriyama & his "team" making this stuff up as they go along, as I said.

That would be pretty hilarious since he'd go from a short, ugly, skinny guy with puffy nipples to a tall, buff, handsome guy with perfect pecs

Knowing Tori and his newfound fascination with less is more, I don't think he'd make him like that though

Tori uses a lot of similar designs and those types of eyes and lines are pretty common in his artwork. Frieza and Cell have similar faces with the lines. Can't wait for Hit to show us what he's made of

what about Magetta the giant robot? Caba & Hit, you can kinda expect what they're going to bring to the table. However Magetta looks entirely different & therefore unpredictable.

I'm making my way through the subs. I watched up to ep 7 as they were being released and lost interest. Started up again on the weekend and am up to ep 14. I'm just eager to get to the newer arc they're up to right now.

Does this line get said in the Super version of BoG though? I mean, the movies are technically not canon, they were just re-interpreted as new canon.

No episode coming this weekend at least. So you have another week to catch up.

Hopefully they take the time to spend on animating an extra episode ahead to give them some time...

Caba looks like he may not be much of a threat. He was shocked at Goku's transformation therefore we can conclude that SSJ isn't a thing or transformations for that matter on his planet. No way is his base form gonna be god level and if it is, that's utter horse****.

Hit LOOKS like a powerhouse but Tori may just be misleading us and he could turn out whack as hell (I really hope not). He'll probably be the strongest of the fighters.

The robot is just a robot. I see him being taken out just as easily as Pooh was.

Btw, Pooh was ****ing useless and was a complete waste of time. He served no purpose. Same with Fat Buu being there just to be dq'ed. This tournament's just been chock full of disappointments imo.

Btw, Pooh was ****ing useless and was a complete waste of time. He served no purpose. Same with Fat Buu being there just to be dq'ed. This tournament's just been chock full of disappointments imo.

Botamo was just fodder, probably would've enjoyed him more had he fought Boo instead. He's an easily forgotton character, unless they plan on doing more with him which I doubt

Another thing I don't understand is, how come the audience only consists of Goku's crew? Do the U6 fighters not have friends & family as well? Would've been an interesting contrast to see that like Caba's comrades on the courtside, or anyone else cheering on U6, and have them banter with Bulma, Chichi, etc.

The Frost reveal was also a letdown; okay fine, have him be a space pirate, it's just the nature of the Freezer race to be that way, but for different reasons. Should've had him feel like what he was doing was a service to the galaxy, that he doesn't think of himself as evil at all, whereas Frieza's only motivation was becoming immortal & becoming a tyrant. In Frost's mind, he should've felt the ends justify the means. Like his intentions were pure, in his twisted mind at least, but he was going about it in typical bastard fashion. Frieza was just sadistic evil because he liked being that way. Frieza wanted to conquer & rule everthing, whereas Frost should've wanted to liberate, but like I said the nature of his species makes him do that through destructive means. Almost like he's unable to tell the difference. I think.

But instead, we got what we got
