The new Trunks looks really good, but I'm not a huge fan of the new hips/joints design. The articulation might be better, but the design looks a bit ugly compared to the old legs, imo.

Ordered one of my trunks from Amiami, paid for EMS 2-7 day shipping... its been 6 days and hasnt even landed in the country yet... I normally wouldnt mind a delay but I want this Trunks so bad

Well, heres the review! Enjoy folks!

Thanks for posting! It looks like a great figure. I may change my mind with the figure in hand but I really like that it doesn't have the lining on the armor similar to the previous Super Saiyan Vegeta releases. I think it looks good on them because their armor sculpt is very thin but I don't think it would look all too good on Super Saiyan Trunks and Super (Saiyan) Vegeta. Painting the inside of the figure is a good idea. I may see how that turns out and give it a try.

i was actually saying this awhile back. I thought it looked great on characters that wear baggy pants like goku, but for characters that wear tight fit clothes like the saiyan armor undersuit, it looks kind of odd to me. Overall, the figure looks great though.

Great pictures, Cooler! Edited: That head sculpt is phenomenal!

I can haz already? ~T_T~

We have to wait until October...

It would be interesting to know what Tamashii's game plan is at the moment. Whether they're updating protoypes, focusing on other Dragon Ball Z Character Categories (which was hinted by Adam Newman), or even re-evaluating their schedule. Compared to last year, in regards to the quantity of S.H. Figuarts releases, it's very lacking.

I would be very surprised if they went a full year without an S.H. Figuarts Goku release. November/December may be the perfect timing for Premium Color Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Goku , or even a Super Saiyan God Goku. I do feel the last two prototypes were the most production-ready from Tamashii Nations 2015, at least in regards to Goku.

Gohan/Gotenks absorbed Super Buu only needed fixed knee articulation to be production-ready and Super Saiyan 3 *Gotenks/Goku and Kid Buu's release in the Figuarts Zero EX line may open the Buu Saga door on other character categories.

Either Tamashii Nations will, hopefully, have a fresh start come 2017 or we'll see something similar to 2016 with more Super releases, a couple 2.0 releases, and 1 or 2 Premium Color releases.
