After giving it some thought I have decided I will probably skip out on SSB Vegeta. Just haven't been feeling it for some time and I'll be putting that money towards the new Trunks which looks like a much better figure.

Speaking of which, is it absolutely guaranteed that that Trunks ascended head sculpt will never see the light of day? Are we ruling out the possibility of it being bundled in with the upcoming Vegeta or PCE Cell? If they went with the latter I wouldn't put it past them to include less accessories like the kamehameha wave he originally came with. But I guess the whole thing is a long shot, huh?

Unless they eventfully plan to release the much bulkier version of Trunks down the road, showing that off will always be seen as a blunder on Tamashii's part.

Pwnstar works at bluefin, if he says that ascended head was put out by mistake then no, it wont ever be released in any way. We were never even meant to see it.

This was put on display by mistake. Bandai will often times make a variety of different prototypes just 'because' but this particular head was never meant to be a part of the normal release. I think it was just one of the spare heads in the container and it was an oversight by the person setting up the display at NYTF.

Only option we have is to spam Tamashii's instagram/Twitter, they hear the demand & include it with Super Vegeta like they included that extra Klylin head with 18 That will be brilliant on their part & give us even more incentive to purchase Super Vegeta

At least we have the Datong hair as an alternative, it's better than nothing

How the final flashing **** is a another unreleased prototype HEAD sculpt just a spare head along in a container to conventions if it's not meant to be seen!? Why is it even leaving the place they're made then!?

This **** can go straight into toy story 4: rise of the prototypes.

Tamashii's gonna miss out on my money now... Don't need any other Trunks unless it's with long loose hair.

Also, they really gotta stop making these side looking faces unless it's an added thing for a specific move recreation.

Ok Canada post came through, got one of my trunks figures, gotta say i am pretty happy. I like all the accessories and ge looks very bad ass with crossed arms. However more face options would have been nice. What I would like so see happen is figuarts do a beefier super trunks with that awesome head we arent getting, and have to faces be interchangeable between the two, so Super trunks can have super saiyan front looking, ascended whiteout eyes and a few others.

What I really like on this fig is the boots, theyre just done perfectly. Very happy to have such a nice update on one of my favorite childhood toys

So I took off the sword part of my PCE trunks and some paint from the shirt chipped off and stick to the sheath. Anyone have the same problem?

This is why I'm not taking off the plastic barrier from new figures.

Boot tips engineering is also good. You can no longer see the toe swivel joints.
