How many people here collect the 3 main Dragon Ball Z Character Categories? S.H. Figuarts, Figuarts Zero, and Figuarts Zero EX

I was that way at first but, for certain displays and ideas, the statues work better than the S.H. Figuarts. Specifically iconic moments. S.H. Figuarts are best for more action-centric poses and displays that allow you to become creative.

I might just purchase the Kid Buu statue. That's only to somehow show Tamashii that we're interested in that character and possibly get a S.H release for the little guy.

I personally think most of the statues look like crap, so I don't bother.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the 2 most popular smaller characters from the Buu Saga were given a Figuarts Zero release. Maybe releasing the Figuarts Zeroes well help get more money for resources for Tamashii to continue working on their S.H. Figuarts prototypes and upgrading them to make them as best as possible.

I wasn't a fan of the earlier Figuarts Zeroes like Super Warrior Awakening Goku and Super Saiyan Trunks but since Super Vegeta, they've been really well sculpted and the paint application is well done as well. They're great alternatives but understandable if you don't like them.

I think some statues (not just Figuarts ZEROs) look amazing, with them achieving even better likeness & detail than SHF. I've had a few statues in my displays. Almost any SSG Vegeta statue you see looks way better than the SHF one. It's just the fact that they are in a fixed pose forever which turns me off, that gets boring real fast. Even moreso as the years go by. Essentially glorified paper-weights in the long run. I think it was completely bogus for Tamashii to make a statue out of Sigma from MMX, knowing damn well they could've made an amazing articulated version, but that's a whole other topic~

It's more likely of me to buy statues of B or C-list characters, such as Kami or King Kai, maybe even Bulma if Tamashii decides to make one. I'm still considering getting these, but for reasons I've stated above, haven't pulled the trigger yet tho

I don't really think Super Vegeta is that much of a step up with his god-tier rape face, but Kid Buu looks to be a step in the right direction.

LOL, well, at least it isnt a figure we will all feel the need to own. I have to applaud bluefin for that one. Seems they learned from their mistake last year.

Safe to say that unless the green hair looks amazing in the PCE gloss I wont be buying him, the original is fine as is to me.
