@Asura Glad to see I'm not alone. I nearly felt crazy for a sec there. Yeah I don't think the 2.0 articulation for the waist and thighs looks good on vegeta and trunks. But that's always a compromise and personal where the balance feels/looks right. I think it's great that so many are so happy with it and I hope they remain so. I really like the 1.0 vegeta sculpt and I just honestly dislike so much details of the 2.0 that I'm not sure if I need this vegeta, especially not if he's more expensive than the PCE one, which has the proper colors as well (the boots I don't care for). Overall the new hairsculpt disappoints me most, it's too broad. But I'll sit here already anticipating screenshots proving I'm wrong.

Btw, thanks prod for confirming the blue is the same as the 2.0.

Ohw wow, thanks for that, so switching the 1.0 vegeta head on the 2.0 body requires some modding on the head slot? That's a bummer.

@Asura & Silrian I also see where yous guys are coming from. The cuts in the thighs somewhat breaks the illusion of a solid leg for me; they look more "robotic" instead of natural-looking, if that makes sense! Maybe with their inevitable 3.0 tooling in a few years, they will find a way to hide those cuts while still maintaining articulation.

Despite that I still look forward to getting Vegeta tho

I agree with some of you guys on how the hips look on characters like vegeta and armored trunks. I believe i pointed out this problem a long while back when trunks was announced. The system just simply looks better on characters with pants as it can kind of look like just folds or wrinkles in baggy pants, but looks a bit awkward on characters that wear skin tight suits like vegeta and armored trunks. However, I do enjoy the 2.0 system overall and once i had the armored Trunks in hand it didnt bother me nearly as much as i thought it would unless i kind of think too hard about it lol

Also wanted to add that I was thinking about what poses i can do with vegeta and trunks since there isnt any semi perfect cell figure (in terms of scenes from the anime). Figured out it would be good to do the scene where Trunks blasts vegeta, would be kind of funny to do that scene, planning to use ultimate gohan's yellow blast to accomplish this haha

Also i think it was Sirlain? who wanted a forward facing screaming face? i think 2.0 vegeta has that no?

Yeah he has it but for the aforementioned reasons I'm on the fence about buying the figure, particularly above all because I dislike the 2.0 hair sculpt, and sadly, vegeta's faces are attached to hair parts... I'd have to weigh having that expression in ssj form and the possibilities, against spending money on a sculpt I like less then what I already have...

Also to you and Crisis, I'm only chiming in with my opinion (once, as far as I'm planning) but it's just as obvious to me why people are psyched and don't let my opinion be felt as raining on the parade. I think this new Vegeta is particularly great for people who like action poses and for many thats what SHF is about. Looking forward to seeing more pics!

As for Yamcha and Tien, I forgot for a sec there that protos aren't confirmed releases but... tbh I don't see them not releasing tien and yamcha. I think they brought them out due to fan requests and if I'm not mistaken, every figure they've shown in response to fan requests made it into release...

oh i didnt think you were raining on anyones parade XD just mentioned it in case you didnt know was all. But yeah, if it's not your cup of tea it's better saving the 45 to 55 bucks and waiting for a majin vegeta or something. I have my own gripes with the styling as well like how the hips look but in the end it's different strokes for different folks, so it's all good :O wasnt trying to be defensive or anything didnt mean to come out that way if it did Although, i have to admit i did want the new vegeta hair to be spikier and more detailed, but at least it's a new sculpt and not a reuse of the old one haha they tried!

Speaking of Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Bardoon. I wonder if Tamashii Nations scrapped the Premium Color Super Saiyan 3 Goku and decided to focus on an updated version similar to Super Saiyan Vegeta. As much as I like the S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan 3 Goku, it can't compare with this newer articulation and quality.

It seems like Bandai might aim to have two "big hit" releases every half. We got Trunks earlier this half of 2016 and we'll get Vegeta 2.0 for the second half.

2017's first big hit will be the new battle damage Gohan, and given that it looks like Future Warrior and XenoTrunks are first half releases, the likelihood of a big release for the second half of 2017 goes up.

That might be when they'll release SSJ3 Goku 2.0. He could likely be the next Fall/Winter release so that Bandai finishes the second half and the end of the year with strong profits from the DBZ line.

oh man, i just thought that if they made SSJ Rose' in the 2.0 system it would be a very awesome figure, and it could be paired with a goku 2.0!

Adam Newman is actually Black Goku and right before Nappa is released, he destroys all the figures and the entirety of the DB franchize was a sadistic truman show of Zamasu, who is actually Toriyama himself, to torture the worst of humanity: rabid fanboys.
