I was thinking about painting one of my vegito heads blue too, probably the black one since i dont see myself using vegito base form, but dunno when i would like to do it.

After this past episode def need DBS trunks with his new spikier ssj hair for his unnamed form, goku black, zamasu, maybe zamasu black, and a SSB vegito (vegito 2.0).

Is his power too much for even the Potara to keep stable maybe?

people were speculating that it's because they fused with potara in a transformed state (goku black was in ssj rose form) and that causes instability and side effects. Apparently, it was mentioned by elder kai in dbz, so that could be it.

@crisis well whatever it is, i hope we get a new sculpt, i def do not want a reuse/retool of the OG ssj hair for a DBS trunks, i i'll be pretty disappointed tbh

Could it also be because it's an "imperfect" fusion as well? Even though they're both Zamasu, technically you have Saiyan biology fusing with Kai biology...so that might cause his new "Zamasu Fused" biology to go all whacky when he started getting pushed by Vegetto. Maybe Kai biology and Saiyan biology at higher levels prove to be a bad mix.

In DBZ they kept quoting how Vegetto was the "perfect" fusion because of Goku's and Vegeta's natural rivalry, but also because you have Saiyan biology fusing together.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but MOST of the official Dragon Ball fusions (outside of the new DBF game and Dragon Ball Heroes) have been characters of the same species and break-down (like Goten and Trunks being half-Saiyans) fusing together.

Also interesting question: Is BASE (or perhaps SSJ1) Vegetto more powerful than SSB Goku (or) SSB Vegeta by themselves?

Base Vegeta x Base Goku = Base Vegito, right? I'm not sure how the Super Saiyan transformations multiplier works but I don't think Base Vegito would be near their Super Saiyan Blue power levels.

Hm I actually remember this as well now that you mention it. It could also be something to do with a god possessing a mortal's body, perhaps it corrupts or something. Or, lol, and because it's super I could kinda see this happening, the Super Dragon just ****ed him over.

That's also an interesting point but then there is kai and kibito's fusion that didn't seem problematic. However, that fusing partners need to have similarity was mostly a part of the fusion dance I thought.

Kibito is still the same race as the Kais ("Shinjin" per Dragon Ball wikia), he just didn't make a Kai rank and ended up being an attendant.

also noticed that when trunks transforms in ep 61 it's very similar to when gohan transformed to ssj2 against cell the first time, i noticed the similarities even more when i matched it up with the original ost of that scene "unmei no hi tamashii vs tamashii" pretty epic haha

I think it has more to do with the Potara not being intended to fuse two of the same individual from different timeline (even if he's inhabiting Goku's body in one of them). Probably messing with the fabric of reality.

According to the dragon ball wiki, in episode 267 "Ready To Fuse?" the old Kai explained "...both users should not be transformed while fusing, as the fused being will not be able to power down from the transformation. As a result, certain transformations, such as Super Saiyan, can put a significant strain on the user's body and shorten his or her lifespan."

Well. Black was in SS Rose form when they fused... Seems like we have an answer for the instability. He's still immortal, so the instability seemed to turn into more of a corruption of the fusion. I bet they will be split again after Vegetto roughs him up for awhile.

I think Future Zamasu's immortality is why Goku Black didn't power down, since the immortality has granted Future Zamasu a lot of abilities and this carried over to the fusion, meaning that this new Zamsu is in a permanent SSJ Rose and he has no drawbacks. It's true that Elder Kai noted that the saiyans shouldn't be in SSJ form when they fuse, so yeah. But I wonder about Bardoon's point, since Zamasu and Goku Black are in different biological bodies...what does that mean for the fusion? Especially since he has that phoenix thing.
