Saiyan and Frieza saga Gohan and Frieza saga Krillin are some of my most desired figures(outside of the ones announced) behind a Raditz, other form of Frieza, Cell etc

wow all these new protos are awesome! i kind of like the old coloring on the kid goku more (although i wish it was his original blue/indigo outfit instead). Also i agree i like the proportions and styling of the original SSG goku, hopefully theyll fix that down the line, there's still plenty of time. Was also hoping that majin vegeta would be a battle damaged release and then we would have an undamaged buu saga vegeta, but we'll see, they could still do that later on. I knew they would reuse vegeta parts as much as they can, but either that majin vegeta still looks awesome. Im betting that the new goku 2.0 body will see an SSB release, the 2.0 goku army is coming! Also, i agree that the sheen on the SSJ 3 goku is perfect, i hope the final product comes out at least close to that!

I don't remember seeing that washed out coloring except in maybe one watercolored illustration in the manga? I don't know if they fixed the proportions a little or if the richer orange just makes it look better.
The blue outfit would've been completely unnaceptable with that body for me, since Goku was even shorter and was even more of a chub-ball when he wore it at the beginning of DB.

Yeah, it seems that way unfortunately.
Still, out of 32 figures 21 are Saiyans, repains of saiyans, and now 2.0 of the same saiyan figures
There are so many supporting characters that should get made instead.
Who wants an entire shelf of yellow and black hair saiyans?
At least kid Goku is different and in a way essential to the series, but Broly and those video game figures? Meh.
I can't believe some people want Gogeta and Goku Black (another Goku
) over different characters.

Supporting characters don't sell, Saiyans do, Saiyan are the main characters, that's just how it goes, plus, Goku has a 2.0 body now, he has ALL his previous releases to be remade now [emoji38]
In all honesty though, Goku black isn't another Goku, it's a new character with new clothing and a new transformation that just happens to look like Goku. I don't see Bardock as just another Goku either.

Personally, I don't care for SS God Goku. The whole "Super Saiyan God" theme was a chance to capitalize on some really cool new designs but instead they just re-colored the hair. Though I do admit I much more prefer the SSGSS look than the red SSG. I don't think we're going to see the SSG form ever again.
The Majin Vegeta body looks great but I do agree we need an updated head-sculpt for the SSJ2 form. It's likely that this is just an initial prototype sample to show off and they'll tweak it. Given we have a new Goku body, we'll also likely get SSJ2 Goku to "pair" with Majin Vegeta.
Btw - SSJ3 Goku 2.0 is up at MHToyshop for $52.99 cheapest Western price so far.

Magenta God is a fairly prominent transformation in the manga, even at the point Black and Zamasu merge, Goku and Vegeta still cannot maintain SS Blue for very long, so they transform to blue from magenta for split seconds while attacking to make their blows more significant and save energy/stamina. I like it much better than the anime, but I still appreciate the anime's point of view.
And I've been hoping for an SS2 Goku and Vegeta for some time, I know the aesthetic differences are subtle, but those are the kind of details that matter to me. I gotta say the hair on the majin vegeta is disappointing, but i agree it's probably just a sample proto. And i'm kinda hoping they just have a general release updated SS Goku with both hair types instead of separate releases, wishful thinking I know.

Kid Goku looks fantastic. I'm interested to see what other faces he'll have. Nimbus looks really cool with Kid Goku too. I'm hoping that will be included.
It's great to see Saiyan Saga Yamcha and Tien. I was thinking that the Android Arc attire was more popular but I'm glad to see Tamashii Nations reveal the prototypes for Saiyan Saga. Long hair is really nice for Yamcha and the face is absolutely perfect. Tien's torso is very nicely sculpted. Wouldn't mind Tamashii Nations covering up the scar and releasing a Kaio-ken Goku with the redone torso.
Gotenks looks better than before. May just be the photos. He does appear to be too tall but I honestly don't mind. If he's shorter than Vegeta, I'll be happy.
Majin Vegeta. Absolutely love it! There are a couple things I would have preferred but I'm extremely pleased with this prototype. The eyeshadowing. The veins on the arms. The torso sculpt! I can't get over that sculpt. That is better than I thought it would be. Unbelievable.
Interesting that they're using the older arm molds to make Super Saiyan God Goku look thinner compared to the other releases. Still preferred the original prototype arm molds.

Wow. Just wow. So many amazing figures. I'm stationed in Japan now so I couldn't go to the show but I got lucky and my cousin was able to score me a Goku after a four hour wait in line. Here's my thoughts on all the fantastic reveals:
Yamcha - Loving the serious face and great how we've got a long hair version out there. I don't think he'll have that long hair included with the Yamcha we've been seeing up until now as he'll probably be a separate Saiyan Saga release rather than an all in one figure.
Tien - The torso looks fantastic and everything else looks stellar like before. I also think he'll have a separate release as well. I was thinking the Saiyan Saga version comes with a fixed Chiaotzu in this pose while a Cell Saga version has a standard pose/figure.
Majin Mother****ing Vegeta - The veins. The expression. The years waiting. He looks epic. I can definitely see them eventually releasing a battle damaged version of him too. With the veins being sculpted in he'll probably be a full on separate Majin Vegeta release which is great news so he'll get the invidualized attention he deserves and Buu Saga Vegeta will be separate. Thank you Tamashii [emoji24]
SSG Goku - The prototype looked better overall. He was leaner how he was supposed to be but now he's got the standard build. The face is off to me, the proto captured the sweet innocence of his eyes and face better lol. The hair was also better on the proto. I do like the color of the gi better on this figure though.
Kid Goku - Most impressive figure they showed imo. The face looks excellent and they captured the modern version of Kid Goku perfectly. All the colors are perfect too. While I'd like the old school anime version with his plumpness, I'll take this one. Can't wait to see what other OG Dragon Ball figures come next.
Misc - Shenron's back and he looks as great as ever. Korin looks awesome and so does the Saibaman. Gotenks was cool to see again and SSJ3 Goku was looking real seductive. Sucks we didn't see any Buu figures or the return of SSJ4 Goku. It's just a matter of time before we see them again but I was hoping for a glimpse.
