The only thing the old one has an advantage over the new one is the paint shading details. It's probably the one big thing I miss from the older figures was that additional paint and attention to shading details.
Oh, and the extra accessories. Tamashii has been sparse on the accessories with the newer figures, and at a higher price-point too.

Agree with others, the old one has better shading, but the new one is slimmer. I'm still not a fan of them not detailing the lines in the brown, but it still looks good.

Goku Black is probably one of the best prototypes I've seen. I think a lot of his fans will be happy with what else he comes with.

Finally pulled the trigger on kaioken Goku for $110... Still a bit more than I would have preferred but that's the cheapest I've seen it.

I know we suggested this before but it would be great if Tamashii eventually gave us figures based off of Toriyama's art-style at the time. Like his early DBZ work when it was more rounded and circular and less jagged and sharp edges.
I would be all-in for this new Vegeta 2.0 if it wasn't for the hair mold being recycled. I actually might have even accepted it, if it wasn't being used for SS2/Majin Vegeta again
If/when they remake SSB Vegeta, here's betting it will still have this same hair sculpt except painted blue obviously
Just want to chime in, I got screwed by MH Toy Shop as well. I only found out because I was wondering what happened to an order I had paid for a week ago. All of my DBZ and Naruto PO's went through them. DBZ figures i always order doubles so in deposits and a balance they requested last week they got me for $205.52. I never delete my emails so i had to spend a few minutes searching for all my orders. Had to file 7 claims with Paypal which are "awaiting seller's response" until the 29th. The balance from last week i paid directly through CC since they probably had shut down their Paypal accounts by then. This all seems carefully crafted to try and keep those last few balances. They billed me $78.99 and I've yet to receive anything so i called Capital One and was refunded today. I liked the shop and I am understanding, but when you shut everything down like that I'm gonna immediately try to do what i can to recoup my $$$$. What sucks is that last figure they billed me for is now sold out everywhere and they were my only hope.

Same here. Got a lot of pending pre-orders on them. Not a nice way to treat long time customers who supported them.

Get a brown Gundam marker on amazon. I did it on my Super Vegeta and it looks great.

Wow, tonight's episode of Super was really action packed! I love Kale! She definitely exhibits Broly's nearly unkillable fighting style. I wonder what Vegeta meant by "True form of the Saiyan". Was he referring only to Kale, or to Saiyans in general? I wonder if he thinks Saiyans can reach Broly's "legendary" status.
Even SSB form couldn't do a thing against Kale in her "legendary" form. Even a full on undefended Kamehameha blast from SSB Goku was treated like nothing. Goku got trashed around like Hulk VS Loki. Does this mean it's stronger than SSB :O
