Whis has been indifferent throughout this entire arc. Even before the tournament started, Beerus expressed extreme worry of being erased, but if you recall Whis' reaction, he wasn't bothered at all.

That's either due to his confidence in the Universe 7 fighters or simply because he knows he won't be erased.

Most of the angels have been rather indifferent (minus the seemingly "evil" reactions of some). Even Vados' attitude towards Champa is rather indifferent, she even pretended to cry if he was to get erased. The only character that Vados "respects" is Goku.

Out of all the characters, the angels certainly reflect the attitude of their "godly" positions most of all. They're "above" the pesky antics of the mortal world, and their indifference clearly reflects this. While the Kais obviously have their own emotions (likely because they're beings of creation and "tied" to the mortal world more closely than the other deities) and the Gods of Destruction are former mortals (once again - emotions), the angels are truly the most neutral "godly" beings of the series so far. If the Grand Priest is TRULY looking to usurp Zen-Oh (is this an allegory of Lucifer/Satan going against God? Because this would very much be like the Biblical "Fall of Lucifer" when he turned against God with his rebel angels), he's possibly looking to eliminate ALL his potential challengers (The Universes' most powerful beings aka God of Destruction candidates) before doing so.

@Bardoon that's a great theory. I'm curious to see how this arc is done in the manga (the manga is still way behind, and many still consider it the "true" canon)

I wouldn't say there even is a true canon for Super, Toyotaro and Toei are both using Toriyamas drafts and just interpreting it differently. If anything the anime is since its done first this time (that was folks excuse for dbz, the manga was first, therefore it's the true canon) but tbh neither is.

I really like that biblical perspective!

I love it hopefully they make a figure.

It's a Goku design. It's going to be released sooner rather than later.

i wish they would announce a release date for these

Seeing as the dub of Super is about to start on the U6 Tournament, I wouldn't be surprised if we see those two get released soon. Probably gonna see Hit too alongside them

I honestly don't think Champa would need updated hips or knees.

Edited: Really enjoyed Dragon Ball Super episode tonight. Hopefully they explain how Goku retained Super Saiyan God form. Changing from God to Blue was similar to the Manga although I believe it was Vegeta who used it in the Manga. (This has now officially kept God form relevant in both manga and anime. Not just a one time transformation and thus making the Figuarts more usable than against Beerus.) Not sure if Vegeta can go God on this yet. Great fight between Hit and Dyspo.

Also, how the hell could the Zen-Oh's not have seen the high speed movement?

Well this episode cleared a lot up about SSG and SSB. And it was awesome. It's kinda funny that the term 'ssgssj' is actually correct, because it's truly two transformations in one.

Also realized Hit's 'coat/robe' won't be a real issue for a figure, it's split at the back as well. If they just make it soft material, it'll be fine, he's not a kicker anyway.
I think there's plenty of characters they should release before Champa and Vados, but that's me.:dunno

Yeah, somethings not right there Ang, Zeno, the god of ALL creation, cant follow a mere mortals movements, yet the grand priest and everyone else can? Definitely thinking more and more that he is just a puppet tbh.

The god vs blue explanation was what they used in the manga, so nice to see some consistency between the two, now we just have to see Vegeta do it, since it was his idea in the manga :p

I think they are starting to realize that blue drains too much stamina and ki, much like ssj3 does, so it may be best to use it sparingly with the god transformation, which is pure god ki instead. Im good with this, always preferred god over blue in how it looks tbh.

If SSG is pure god ki control, then what is his new form supposed to accomplish? Super-perfect god ki control, or ultra super perfect god ki control? Which is it? Because this is the terminology we have to use at this point. Just one of the reasons why I'm against Goku gaining yet another meaningless transformation

And Goku seemed to have no problem tacking Kaioken on SSBlue, which quadruples his ki even EXTRA EXTRA further. come on guys :dunno

Unfortunately guys, they're following comic book-logic here where the "transformations and limitations" will be tailored to the necessity of the story. So while you might get an explanation in this story for why Goku and Vegeta just don't turn SSGSS/SSB and wipe everyone out because it "drains stamina and ki too rapidly", that explanation might very well go out the window for another arc (or already shown to have OVERUSED the forms as during the Goku Black arc).

Remember how the "Potara Earring Fusion" was supposed to be permanent? That conveniently changed for Dragon Ball Super... though the explanation was reasonable, it played upon the "unawareness" of the characters once again, though Old Kai could be depicted as "forgetful" for his age. This explanation once again was used so that Vegito wouldn't "crush" Merged Zamasu and also to "split" Goku and Vegeta again... once again, it played into the story.

I try not to dive too much into it and just "accept" what the story is putting in front of us for the time being.

I think the thing about Zeno not being able to see stuff is that he's not really a fighter. He has no actual warrior or fighting skills but just a godlike ability to destroy universes.

I really hope we get to see Vegeta in SSG. It's kinda ******** how in the manga he has it and did the switching between forms but here they gave the credit to Goku [emoji849]

Isn't Super Saiyan Blue pure god ki, as well? I thought Super Saiyan God was only their normal base tapping into godly ki while Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan Blue is a Saiyan transforming into a Super Saiyan while in the Super Saiyan God state?

Zen-Oh is referred to as the Omni-King, a being with power above all else, and is known to erase universes, planets, and beings in the blink of an eye. So for him not being able to follow the movements of mortals is very suspicious. Deano could very well be accurate on Zen-Oh being used as the puppet while the Grand Priest is the one pulling the strings. We still don't know the reason how or why though so it'll be interesting to see more of these hints as the series progresses.

That doesn't necessarily mean that he has the sight capable of detecting high speed movements like the other fighters do. He is a child after all and besides the fact that he has the ability to erase we know nothing more about him. His fighting skill (if he even has any) is unknown to us. There's a difference between an all powerful ability and fighting prowess as is seen among the other fighters. The priest could still very well be manipulating him though

Imagine if that bunny gangster boss from the original Dragonball touched one of the gods. I wonder if they'll turn into carrots lol!
