Jep, same reasoning here. I dislike the harsh lines in Goku's face, but with my lighting I don't notice those, and if you throw direct light on the reissue ssj goku he really looks lit up as if it's emergy imo.
Tamashii's beginning to overshade a little (like sdcc's piccolo's forehead), they should dial that back a bit imo. Neither manga nor anime have that much shading.

Btw if anybody ever wants to get rid of ssj Vegeta's body (either with or without the head, don't need it) please let me know if your willing to ship to holland...

Any clue about this? Is trunks getting a reissue? Do they have him confused with sh zero trunks? Friend hasn't gotten trunks so should she wait for this or just buy it now?

EVery sdcc piccolo has this huge shadow in between his eyes and its kind of bother some. Is that a defect on some of the sdcc piccolos or maybe camera setting? Mine doesnt have that. Also i prefer the original piccolos cape over the sdcc, it has way too much shading. Here are some pictures.

They only have it on the Hat wearing Piccolo head! Mine has it and every one I've seen a picture of so far. As I said in my previous post, Tamashii is bordering on going overboard with the shading.

on mine the one with the hat is slightly darker not like the pictures, even though it makes sense cus the robes will cause a shadow on his forehead. I dont think they are going over board... sdcc always have more shading than regular release.. for examples gokus hear it bothers me sometimes but i wouldnt dare repaint it cus of the value lol. friezas shading was ver balanced as well, so we shouldnt see any figures with over board shading. i just think some peoples piccolos have a lot more shading then mine, which looks bad to me. luckily i got a good one.

Yeah they work . A lot of ppl have ssj vegeta with the crossed arms from scouter vegeta .

Sdcc gohan wasn't released with too much shading like goku and piccolo .....

like i said even the one with the hat doesnt have it like that on mine maybe i got lucky?!. I would definitely get it the body looks so much better, ill post my video on here so you can see the difference side by side.

My DBZ collection so far. I don't have a display area yet so they're all in their boxes. Still waiting on Frieza and SDCC Piccolo then decide if I should sell the 1st Piccolo along with 1st Gohan.
Looks great all together man.
I love the coloured boxes Tmashii uses. Although I don't get for the life of my why they made sdcc piccolo's yellow and purple. The yellow is a weird choice imo. I would've gone green or pink...Will you be buying every DBZ figure? Like for example Krillin up next? Would be nice to have a group shot of every figure so far together.

If shading on the head bothers you just dip a Qtip in some acetone and it will come right off. You can do this for any part of the body that is the softer flexible plastic. Hard plastics like the torso it will damage.

Just got frieza. Great figure, but the white part on the shoulders really annoys me.
