Goku was cheaper because he was a reissue, and a pretty basic figure on top of that. I'm pretty sure prices are lower on the reissues than the first release anyway.. Can anyone confirm?

Krillin is $39. Pretty hood price. Vegeta was $42. Picvolo is pretty pricey though.

i have an extra ssj goku reissue and ssj vegeta both displayed only with box and complete accessories. also an extra sdcc gohan and sdcc goku both unopened. im getting ready to move when i get back from vacation so i could use the extra cash. just sayin

In retrospect, gotta say, this really is a strong argument. Accesability to the most popular characters keeps the line alive for everyone.
Yeah pretty great interaction with the fans imo. Wish more companies gave us that amount of say on the line.

All I can say is I'd really like to buy a second hand SSJ Vegeta because I just need the body. Not the head, not the accessories, just the friggin body... I won't pay this aftermarket SSJ Vegeta price... Oh and good luck with the moving, almost always a pain in the *** to do (though hopefully rewarding in the end).

Besides frieza he's the only one I don't have I think he looks terrible.

I wouldn't mind getting SDCC Goku but I'm pretty happy with the standard release. I have extra, so once base Goku comes out I'm going to get an extra and just swap the heads on one for an anime colored version. If I never get an SDCC version anyway. lol.

I think he looks pretty bad all things considered. Bad face paint, bad deco, but at least he has cool effects parts.

I think it's too much hate to be honest. It's still worthy of the line aside from the ugly paint app. If his hair wasn't orange it would of looked loads better. Maybe will get a SDCC version.

Imo the original ssj Goku is quite akin to the anime. He's almost always almost exactly that color orange/yellow when he's SSJ... I had a couple of times past few days that I watched from the anime on my screen, to the figure, and back and forth, and it's quit close. Goku in ssj mode rarely his original powered down orange garment color. He only has that in the Cell saga when he powered down yet still in ssj mode to extend his norm.
It's too bad the head is so bland. Though all the ssj heads are too dark compared to the very light anime hair color.
I might get two regular Gokus and paint one SS God.

I still hate SS3 Goku overall. It's just that I'm a completionist and well it's still the best SS3 Goku out there. I've just been holding off on buying him, but now he's rising in price.

Meh, it's not a design I like much to begin with to be honest. There is a decent figure buried beneath that paint, but the execution just fails. I know what they were going for, but instead of looking like he's engulfed in energy he looks like he's covered in organish brown mud. lol. An SDCC version would be welcome.
That's a good point, and overall I think I prefer the standard release simple because his deco is more consistent. The action face is a bit inferior to the SDCC version I think, because of the heavy shading on the nose. Though I think the regular faces are both very good in different ways.

I feel the same about SSJ3 Goku. I'm just waiting for a good deal.

)Well they've beaten ya to that. My friend on this other board(dragonballtoys.proboards.com if anyone cares) has made some EPIC official looking customs. Not sure if they've been brought over here by members who frequent over there(timone/iam/etc). Here they are though, hopefully he doesn't mind!
Then there's another member who's another great customizer aswell and made another awesome pair!

The sdcc Goku head looks like a blonde dude with a heavy tan to me to be honest haha. Idk. I think Sdcc Gohan is easily the best ssj' sculpts out yet.
Btw, I recently wondered, would regular goku come with two heads with his hair bangs pointed to one side each? Because they switch that like they switched old Mickey Mouse's ears depending on whether you saw him from left or right... Although I think the default is his hair slanted towards his right.
