Oozaru would def be monsterarts though. And I think even Shenron might, although they might break him down and manage to get him into figuarts size package, but it's kinda weird, he's not exactly humanoid which all figuarts tend to be.

I've known DBZ since 99 or 2000, I'd never heard of that maximum meme.

Do we really think Broli beat out Majin Buu in the fansurvey? Definitely quite a farcry from our results... And it was said he didn't have much appeal in Japan so I see little else that could push them to make him...

The "his power is maximum" statement is a pretty obvious hint at Broly; it comes from some kid saying it in a newspaper and it soon became a meme, it wouldnt be for anything else.

It was a joke! Isn't that the reason we've been talking about Broly this whole time? I thought the reason we thought Broly was the exclusive was because someone asked if they were doing special for the anniversary on twitter?

That's why I made the joke when you guys were showing the Tamashii yellow hint, that we need to track down the guy who drew the picture when he was a kid, to ask what color yellow crayola crayon he used.

@)Silrian I thought someone was saying Shenron was a Monster Arts, I was just trying to say, if we had to get a Monster arts, I'd be more interested in an Oozaru, but I'd much rather them stick to main characters, throughout the four story arcs.

It was early when I replied to you buddy, apologies for not seeing the joke lol

So back to Broly being the SDCC exclusive. How much do you think he will sell for? The most expensive DBZ figuarts to date has been Cell right?

I tend to doubt that they will do a new figure as an SDCC exclusive.... It would make it very difficult for people outside SDCC to get it, which would jack the aftermarket scalper prices up horribly. They've always done repaints for SDCC and I don't see that changing any time soon, but who knows....

I honestly think they could say any price for Broly and get away with it. The people that love Broly, LOVE Broly. He hasn't had a lot of great figures that represent his massive form, except the one. I see him as other huge cult favorites as Marvel's Deadpool and DC's Red Hood. People are so hungry for those figures, I've seen many customs sell on average for $300, and those are just 6 inch. I've seen some go for $2000. Once they get a great official release, the demand will go way down.

So, as promised here's a review of my new Kuji Saiyan Space Capsule. I was warned of its size, however I did not heed such warnings and of that I am so glad! Yes, it is absolutely humongous and most probably not perfectly scaled for the SH Figuarts line, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Its sheer size makes it an truly impressive sight to behold. The detail and paintwork of this capsule is far superior to the Irwin pod and is very faithful to the anime rendering, down to the very last button. Once you pop the door open to reveal the amazing interior you will not regret adding this to your collection. It is almost as though it was purpose made for Figuarts Vegeta, who fits in there very comfortably. All in all, I love this piece! Although, it's not something that makes for an easy display piece, due to its size.

"FK YOUR COUCH NAPPA!"

This Pod looks awesome. its quite detailed which I like. Would be cool if Nappa fits. How much did that go for? N as far as SDCC, this will be it. Variant Color Vegeta and people people the "Maximum" character is obviously Broli, get over it lol

Probably yeah. If we do indeed see Broly I think he will just be a special deluxe figuarts release in honor of the 25th anni, not an ex. Also, there's nothing going for him being an exclusive, just speculation. The tweet asked fir anything figuarts and the replied with that hint.

The SDCC poll was not accurate of what most people want at all. Non Dragon ball fans could have picked just a random character or just a character's name they recognized. I know absolutely nothing about Power Rangers, but I had to vote for one of them for the poll, so I just picked a random one. I have no intention of buying any of the video game, anime, or rock band figuarts they asked to vote for, but I had to vote for them, in order to vote for a Dragon ball figuarts. People could just have done a quick youtube search and looked at what character looked coolest or ridiculous to them and decided to vote on that, just to see how the prototype would look. I think the only music one I recognized was Michael Jackson and would never want a figure of him, but it would be cool to see how the Zombie form looked.

When I say "random", I mean random to me. I spent about an hour on youtube and google trying to find out what was most people's favorite Power Rangers and anime of the choices, because I wanted fans of those series to hopefully get the one they wanted. Do on to others as you want done on to you!

Haha, what a thoughtful fellow you are :clap

In order to be accurate I guess Broly would probably have to be around 9 inches tall, and very broad, at least in SSJ form.... that would put him out of the Figuarts category and in to Monster arts I imagine. I don't mind as long as he opens the doors to other large figures getting released in the future.... Saiyan Saga Vegeta badly needs Nappa! the proto's seem like a long time ago now.... I hope he doesn't turn into normal Goku and not get a release for another few years:(

"FK YOUR COUCH NAPPA!"

Wow, that is an excellent piece! Great purchase there. Instead of laying out the cash on my own, you posting those pics almost makes me wanna track you down, name, address, etc. find out when it's most convenient to sneak into your house, carefully take that Space Pod while leaving no fingerprints anywhere, and promptly leave swiftly perhaps leaving a "thank you" note, all that effort not just for the pod, but for the thrill of it all going thru great lengths to acquire a DBZ item, the pod will be just a bonus for my endeavors

All jokes aside, that thing indeed does look superior to the Irwin pod. But at least the Irwin pod lights up, so that's an advantage it has over this one, lol. I do plan on getting this Kuji one soon, it'll look nice next to the Irwin one so I can examine the details better. Thanks for sharing!

So these are the only 2 pods available that can go with the Figuarts scale-wise, correct? There aren't any other super-rare space pods that we have to track down?

Sadly it's looking like that's the case. Like I said it seems that they may be still trying to figure out how the armor would work, since he's gotta be the most complicated DBZ Figuart they've made to date. But, if they could accurately make an articulated full-scale Shenron, then Nappa should be no problem for them, so who knows.

To be honest I would probably prefer him with armour, and wouldn't be too bothered if it wasn't removable, but I guess that would spoil the "OVER 9000" scene.... I'll just be happy to get a Nappa full stop... TFS has done so much for the appeal of that character for me lol

Pfft.... over 8000 is where it's at! I wouldn't mind if the armor wasn't removable either. The black and yellow look so cool. I'm finally starting to warm up to Vegeta's colors. It's really cool that it's white, because it every mark or damage he takes will clearly show, show when it comes unscathed, it show how scary powerful he is, that he didn't even get a mark. It just doesn't look as cool as Nappa's, Raditz'd or Bardock's armor to me.

Lol, of course they'll want people to recreate the OVER 9000 scene. They wouldn't have created that unique Krillin headswap if they didn't wanna recreate that specific scene with 18. Almost all the pieces to the puzzle are already in place (Vegeta crushing his scouter, Normal Goku's imminent release, even Nappa's facial expression on the prototype). Just give us a release date, even if it's vague (like 2nd quarter 2015 or something)

I'm still jonesing for a Raditz release :/
