Dragonball AF was pretty good; the one by Toyble. Though, he hasn't made a new chapter since the 2011 earthquake/tsunami.

Uh yeah Atamsk, if you think you can call people bandwagoners and then say move on and expect people to do so, you're being naieve.
However, philosopher, your first point is explicitely wrong. Piccolo says to vegeta that he will NOT be able to keep his body after his atonement. Vegeta literally asks this before he sacrifices himself against Buu.
The larger point though is that people don't always care about plotholes. I don't give a rats *** that the ginyu's manage to get to the Kai plaet or that cell and frieza break out of hell. All it shows is that DB(Z) just isn't that serious.
I dislike GT because I think pretty much all the designs suck and I dislike the plots as well. I could care less what has more or less plotholes if there's other reasons I (dis)like something. And I think that goes for most people.

Atamsk is clearly being childish or is just being a troll probbably easier to just block him, this guy has 29posts and hes tryn to annoy people now when people are giving their opinions about what they like he takes it offensively
@Rrashidp I don't take anything offensively on this forum. I wanted to change the topic(See my previous post multiple pages ago). But some people just wont let it go. They want to continue the GT debate, good luck with that, seeing as though I'm the only one who supports GT .-. and I said "let's move on" 5 or 6 pages ago... My name is continuously being dragged into this GT discussion, which I blatantly ended long ago.

So, I've been watching the new Dragon Ball Z Blu Ray series, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it! I don't want to start a debate regarding whether one thinks it's crap b/c of them cutting parts of the frame to make it widescreen. Just wanted to say that I've been enjoying it. I'm up to the point where Goku has arrived on King Kai's Planet, and I had forgotten how much I love this part of the series.
On a side note, it's interesting watching the English version with the subtitles on, b/c there's quite a few differences between the English and Japanese scripts. I assume a lot of this is in order to try and sync the words with the movements of the mouths, but even when it's a scene where you can't see the character's mouth moving it's sometimes different. Regardless, I still find I prefer to watch it with the English speaking VA's and the subtitles on. Interesting enough, DBZ is the only anime I've encountered where I prefer to watch it with the English speaking VA's. I can't stand Goku's Japanese VA...

It's not about the GT thing, it's about how you insulted people when you didn't have the facts straight, and you never admitted fault.
I've had arguments with other users here, but there is an etiquette to how we disagree. You only wanted to drop it because you felt embarrassed that you got proven wrong so quickly. And you simply try to cover it up by not discussing it anymore.
Nothing irritates me more than someone trying to save face the way you're doing.
Others tried to change the subject before you, but you kept calling people "bandwagon'ers" but you suddenly want to change the discussion when someone posts facts.
Antics like these really make me think there should be an age gate just to minimize this kind of behavior. (and you still never addressed my argument, I had an error in there too, and you missed it. Silrian had to point it out, because you didn't even see it)

@Silrian, you are 100% right. But I like the fact that people can express their opinions though, it would be weird if we all agreed on everything all of the time... like the borg on star trek.
That said, I like all dragonball related shows. DB, DBZ, DBGT, even Toyble's AF. The movies, the specials. I'm thankful for every dub, because some of my favorite anime series don't even have a single English dub... I'm not one to nitpick or complain about simple things. If you feel that GT sucks, and you know what the story should be like, then I encourage you to write, animate, and dub your own series, and show us all how good your ideas really are. <3

I like that too, but when you voice said opinion don't (unintentionally) insult others while doing so. To boot this officially isn't the thread for it, and being guilty of a lot of sidetracking myself, I think we gotta make more effort to be efficient and polite when we discuss something, especially when it's off topic. And I look at myself when I say that too (or try to).
