Honestly, I'm surprised with Saiyan Saga Vegeta going up in value so soon. I say that not because it isn't a cool figure, but because of the loose leg problem. Granted the problem is easy to fix in just a few minutes, but most people probably aren't comfortable with fixing it. Though, I guess there could be a lot of MOC collectors out there. I'm definitely not one of them though.

my first figure was sdcc goku I didn't know which one to get since they were both about 145$ and I went for the sdcc cus of the shading and o did I make the right choice.

My first figure was also ssj vegeta and it was when he was dirt cheap an i was lucky enough to randomly find the figure in a anime store and discovered this line at the same time lol

I saw manga goku and piccolo in youtube videos in spring 2012, but mainly because piccolo had the wrong color scheme for me, I just didn't wanna spend that money on him. And if there's no piccolo, there's no reason for me to even enter the line.

But then I saw Trunks in another youtube video about a month later and that figure blew me away so much that I bought it, they had it at archonia (paid too much for it in retrospect). I initially thought well... he's perfect, and I wouldn't mind just owning him solo. So I took the dive for the first time in a figure that expensive. When I had it in hand I was so damn blown away, I genuinely felt it was one of the coolest things I'd ever bought.:rotfl

Then, just having had sdcc12, I saw Gohan, perfect rendition, on ebay, and just had to have that too. I actually did NOT buy ssj Vegeta, because of his lack of accessories. I did buy manga piccolo in september after that because I found him cheap.

Then when I bought Cell jan '13 I genuinely made the decision to fully start collecting this line.

I decided to buy ssj vegeta summer last year because it finished what I wanted: the five main chars of the show in the android period form. Still feel my collection is, at it's basic core, complete.

EDIT: Okay it's not complete-complete until I have a saiyan saga Goku.... With a bag of sensu beans ("Sensu bean!").

i actually bought most of the figures all at once (SS(3) goku, SS vegeta, Sdcc Gohan, Piccolo, Cell) :dunno :monkey1

but ss3 goku arrived first :panic:

A Japanese company answering to the Japanese market, how odd.:lol If this stuff would not sell in Japan at all, they would not continue making it even if it did sell in america. Not for an extended period I mean. Bandai is a japanese country, they care about their own people first, it's just plain logical. Will never change, I expect.

Also, Blood, you photoshop maniac.:rotfl

I don't expect 17 before Oktober. Seems everything is a month earlier than last year.

My first figure was Vegeta Scouter.

Hello guys, I'm new at this forum, so far I only own 5 SH Figuarts DB, Piccolo, Freezer, Krillin, Vegeta and SS Goku. I really want more!!

However, I was reading on forums about a quality problem with Scouter Vegeta and a Loose leg, mine had it, is there something to do? before it was somehow loose, I used some paper to tighten it a bit, the other day when I removed the plastic, the leg was insultingly loose. :(

First of all welcome! There are three main methods a few of us use;

Silrians method is to heat the plastic with a heat gun and gently press the plastic closer together.

I like to dab a tiny drop of super glue on the ball to coat it, not thickly, wait for it to dry fully and then see if its tightened.

The third method is using clear nail varnish the same way as the super glue one, only dofference being that suoer glue is obviously permanent, varnish can crumble over time.

The super glue method is the way to go. Like Deano said though, a thin coat will do it. Of course, make sure it's dried before putting the legs back on.

Also, the legs probably became more loose due to the paper forcing the joint socket the ball joints rest in to widen/warp. You might try a blow dryer on high heat for a minute or so on the 2 areas that the joint sockets in order for them to soften up and go back to their original form. Just let them reform on their own, if it will even work, as trying to reform them yourself could mess them up. Also, give them plenty of time to cool off or before popping them back on the balls joints. It might work, it might not, but it won't hurt anything to try if you don't mess with the sockets them selves while they're hot.

Lol, you confuse my method to make and break things Big D.:lol I use a blowdryer to heat the plastic a little so it becomes incredibly easy to pop joints off. As in pop hands or arms off. And then also very easily pop 'm back together again. I recommend this highly especially with the tight folded arms pieces. 30 secs of simple heat and it becomes really easy.

I haven't fixed my vegeta legs at all yet. I might try the glue thing some day, but so far I just pose him in stands flying, which largely negates the issue.

Welcome Alex! I haven't fixed my Vegeta's leg either, but I like the stand flying pose! It's still an awesome figure! Now Gohan's arm, I want to fix it, because it falls off if I just touch the figure.

My gateway into Figuarts addiction was Perfect Cell - still my favourite from this line after getting all the others, although there's a few that come very close....

Received my SSJ Vegeta today:rock
Man am I happy to FINALLY have this figure..... I paid a hefty sum for it, but it was at least genuine and completely mint in the shipper box too. It's also my first gold stickered box (all my others have been silver) although I did buy it straight from Japan.... He's a great figure - so solid and the paint apps are perfect. I agree a forward facing shouting face would have been nice, but I'm honestly just delighted to finally have this version of Vegeta. Only SDCC Goku that I'm missing now, but I'm more than happy with my manga version of him....

Awesome Riddle! I'm glad to see he was worth the money to you!

Silrian, I don't know if you just didn't care for the smiling face, or if you wanted something more accurate, but I've been searching for a screen shot for you and finally found one. It's not the best, but hopefully it helps?

Excellent Riddle congrats!

Ah, yeah, I do remember him in that shot as I edited that part a lot. But it's only one small point during that whole scene. To me the final flash is mostly his ultimate embodiment of his rage. And so without him expressing that, it just takes away from it for me.

I actually would've preffered this:

I genuinely find that one of the most iconic images of Vegeta ever. Somehow it has a surrendering aspect to it. He just goes all out, he doesn't even keep his guard up in any way. He surrenders everything to his own power. I would've bought this ZERO instantly.

Oh I agree! Sorry, I didn't know! An angry smile would probably be more suitable for his Galick Gun because that's when he went crazy!
