@) Silrian I'm right there with you! When I asked you guys what you're top 5 fights were, I wrote that was the best fight of the series, and my second favorite under the Majin Vegeta vs Goku fight, just because of the emotion behind it. My all time favorite fight moment is those few seconds where Goku makes those combinations of kicks and punches inside Piccolo's throat. I know you don't like KAI, but when I watch Dragon Ball and KAI together it feels like a complete story. The Boo arc feels like extra, but I'm glad, because it made me love Vegeta and Gohan. When I watched the original Dragon Ball Z, because of the way it's paced and the screen time shown with the other characters, it felt like a different story, and the Boo arc did feel necessary for Vegeta, but once I learned it's Goku's story, that changed. KAI follows the same tone and characterization from Dragon Ball. The Super Saiyan transformation was very reminiscent of how Goku acted in the King Piccolo saga, and the way he allowed Vegeta to go in the Saiyan saga, was reminiscent to how he let Piccolo go in the 23rd tournament saga. I'd say give it a shot, but I understand if you don't. You were completely right about what you said about Yamcha. Unless I misunderstood, but I think you were saying that he was unnecessary because he took away from other characters being better utilitzed, and took away from their character development, because any trait Yamcha had, could have been given to them, and added a little more dimension to them.
@ mooncake623 I've watched KAI five times and I want to watch it right now! I love it! It's the only way I want to watch Dragon Ball Z. It flows really well from Dragon Ball, if you watch that first. The dragged it out a lot in the original with flashbacks, environmental shots, standing around, and the fights went on to far. However, if you saw my previous posts, I LOVE the filler episodes! I just watch KAI, watch the filler, and then go to the Boo arc.
