These arent mainstream, mass produced figures though, you have to remember that; every one of these is hand painted to perfection as far as i know, that takes alot of time, and the ones we seen are only prototypes, they havent even started production on anyone other than Vegeta.

All i'm saying is to be grateful we are even getting more; this series just about died in japan with Gohan, its a miracle they are doing the line just for the west!

I don't think these are hand painted.

The sheer quality of paint on them, coupled with the minute details makes me think so; no way a machine could achieve the level of detail we get on the faces, weapons etc.

Congrats Pitu! I'm looking forward to a cracka-lakin review bro!

I'm still waiting on Amazon. Their customer service told me that they have still not received product. :(

Bandai figures are as mass-produced as they get.

Hey Pitu, the eyes on your Cell looks better than the other ones I've seen! Hopefully I'll get a good one. It looks like it might be a little inconsistent like Trunks.

Why do u say that?

Have you seen the way HT paint the eyes on their figure? Its more detailed than the usual SHF bandai paints, and even those aren't hand painted.

Well, hand painted or not, those details are very small, and would take skill to be applied at any kind of speed, even by a machine.

I also agree that dragonball isnt a priority line, which could go to explain why we dont get anywhere near as much as say, sentai or kamen rider.

Honestly im surprised dragonball isnt a priority line and kamen rider is, i never even heard of kamen rider before and ive seen a few of their reviews on youtube of the figures and not to offend anyone but they look super lame and boring compared to dbz lol

Anything new on the larger scale figures? Looking forward to nabbing a battle damaged ss goku :)

Meh, I knew about rider, but never cared about the series, was always more of a sentai/power rangers kid, but, each to their own i suppose; many fans of other series may think DBZ is boring lol, hell, some comments on that pic of Vegeta on bluefins page were surprised as to "why" they were still making DB figuarts, which proves my point lol.

I don't actually think they are even planning larger DB figures; as i said before, we are lucky this line is still going, let alone new lines being started!

I would actually love the old figurerise DBZ line to start up again; always loved building figures, and with the articulation and detail that Goku and SSJ Goku had just made it all the better, always wondered why that line died off, they were basicaly large scale figuarts!
