Kinda like this?

I think a Great Saiyaman Figuarts would have the most potential for accessories/head swaps. Think about it; multiple heads (helmet w/ smirk, sunglasses w/ bandana, standard black hair with smiling/yelling/^_^/serious/painful facial expressions, and super saiyan hair), removable cape, varied hand positions, maybe even Nimbus, or his Masenko technique.

Yes!!!

IIRC, Great Saiyaman is the only figure from the first Tamashii survery that we have not heard about - they must have decided he wasn't popular enough?

I think the Yardrat costume is a nifty design! It's really cool when we see the cast in different clothes, like their civilian, training, or Saiyan outfits. Gohan looks great wearing the Kai uniform with the Z Sword.

How would a removable cape work? Unless it was cloth, it would be too heavy to just plug in two holes to support it well. I'd also worry about them breaking really quick. I can't see them giving more than two heads, unless they just gave one standard Saiyaman smiling face. I'd rather just have the way he looked on Babidi's ship or his blue gi and have them just go all on out like Trunks, having two heads-regular and SSJ2 with different faces.

Sorry to ask this again, but it got lost in the shuffle with the new Goku pics. Is the Figuarts Zero Trunks in scale with the other Figuarts figures? Does anyone have a picture of them together? Thinking about picking him up. Thanks!

Saint seiya figures of the same line as this (though not named figuarts) have plastic capes consisting of three pieces that move to give different poses, and they are all removable, with replacement back pieces so the holes dont show. It is simple enough to do.

We are going on about how one figure will have to be "skimped" on so other figures can go all out on accessories, but truth is Goku is the first figure in a long time that feels that way; we shouldnt have to worry about these things, all figures should be made equal.

Exactly because he is the first in a long time that I'm disappointed it's Goku, again.:lol

If I'm not mistaken the ssj goku Zero is in scale with SHF, but oddly enough Trunks looks pretty big for even the other Zeros so I'm not sure. But I would expect him to be in scale pretty much, maybe buffer. I haven't come across a picture of Trunks in hand next to a regular shf yet but if I do I'll post it.

I get that Silrian, for the record I never disagreed with you, I have just decided that its pointless to complain about it at this point, its far too late to do anything about it now.

You can apply that quote to me if you want. If we don't get SSJ Vegeta at SDCC, I will be crushed. I won't be mad, because it's not their fault or anything, it's just I got myself hyped from that interview and the other Toy Fair info we got.
See, that is why you shouldn't harbor expectations. I'm no different though.

It's not a big deal for me neither, but I just see it as icing on the cake (as many others do when they get "extra goodies" with all the figures they buy). I can't see any reason for them not to include it, but this is Tamashii we're talking about. They didn't wanna give us that smiling SSj Goku "victory" face, or Piccolo's SBC, a confident Normal Goku smirk or the longer Kamehameha effect beams, so it's possible they won't give us that alternate Krillin face/detonator either (despite advertising it). It might be both, one or the other, or neither. Who knows?
I'm sure this line is here to stay. And what they are practicing are simple business tactics to keep it that way. :lecture

I want a 'Bad Man' Vegeta! :lol

And doesn't Gohan come with a removable cape?

Where Pwnstar?? Where he at? :impatient:

PwnStar511 got an actual job at Bluefin Distribution and it involved him moving from East to West Coast (I thought he said), so yeah, dude is busy.:p

I have to say, now that I look at it, I'd say Trunks is too big in general unless you perceive him as postHTC Trunks. He does look like his first apearance again when he goes back to the future after Cell, so I've no issue with it though.

I can't make up my mind on whether I want them, I'm warming up to them though.

EDIT: Na maybe I was looking at it run, we know Goku is pretty much in scale so I expect Trunks to be close to it as well.

Ah, look at the 4:05 mark, Trunks compares excellently to Goku and we know Goku is enough in scale with Figuarts (Pwn posted a picture of Zero goku and sdcc goku right side by side, barely any size difference). So yeah, I'd buy it if you wanna make up for not having the SHF version.

This is actually quite a good picture where you can see that the zeros fit pretty well with the normal SHF's.

official picture or personal collection? If the latter, it was a neat idea to use the images of the official convention labels for each figure.

@Deano Thanks. I just didn't know how it would work with the design. I knew you could always plug it in the back for support, but that would effect the sculpt, and I wouldn't holes in the back. I thought the only goof was the dis coloring of SSJ3 Goku, because on Amazon or BBTS, it shows a different color for Goku. You wouldn't know it was different, unless you bought it. I don't see why there should be any more worries.

@Intruder Yeah, that's why I have been saying "expect the worst, hope for the best." That was just a joke, because I was poking fun at my dislike of Shakespeare. Gohan and Piccolo's capes are pullovers, not a cape that's pinned into the shoulders.

@bane No man, sorry, the second part of my post wasnt aimed at anyone in particular, just voicing my opinion on the matter :p

Oh it's no problem man! I just go with whatever the conversation is. If you want to talk about what's good about the Goku release, I'd go with that. It's like when we talked about how we'd change the direction of the Boo arc or Goku's actions in the Majin Vegeta fight. Despite it's problems, I think the Boo arc is great, and I like the way Goku acted in that fight, and find nothing wrong with it, but I just try to go with the conversation.

Anyone have any idea which is the most successful individual character released thus far? Which 1 sold the most units?
