I bought these when they first came out as well.

The Japanese version were better quality than the HK ones. I think they stop releasing these after brolly, the one with Gohan in the helmet outfit, cell were so ugly that I stop buying them.

There was also a three Saiyajin combo Japanese version right? Those were the best. The hair was gold instead of yellow.

My cousin had the model kit with rubber pants. It was perfect for posing. I second the swifter trunks figure. Wish there was some way to leave figuarts feedback. The hybrid trunks toy figure seems like a close concept of what it could be.

I don't think I was expecting it to be that price. Vegeta is around $40 from BBTS. & they are both listed as "exclusive" figures

They did the same thing for vegeta when he was first released. As it gets closer it will drop in price. Don't forget according to the earlier posts in this thread that amazon will be releasing all the tamashi dbz figures with free shipping like vegeta on preorder. Thanks for the item catch on bbts.

BBTS also had the pre order for the Medicom Naruto figures at about $300 before, & now the pre order price is around $260. So I guess a price decrease might happen for this figure also

Part of the reason I didn't purchase the SDCC Goku, was because of the purple wrist & waist bands. & now I see SSJ3 Goku has the same thing

Just got my SDCC Goku and bought a Gohan today

They both look awesome and I think they are really well made, unlike the SHF One Piece figures which looks and feels a bit cheap.

Cant wait for Vegeta, and the SS3 Goku

Glad you liked them Hydeous! The joints for the SHF figures really are very well engineered. Any plans to get Piccolo?

The regular Goku was shown at an exhibit about a year and a half ago together with SS3, the uncoloured sculpt for Vegeta, and the coloured proto for Gohan. With the recent onslaught of those long forgotten figures getting a release as exclusives. I'd say it'll follow in the fashion of SS3 and will be released in the same format a couple of months down the line.

yeah, Piccolo would be next, along with Vegeta. The shop I went to just now only have Gohan.

I hope they release it soon. I noticed that the color of the outfit is dark orange, similar to the SDCC version.

Also the uncolored Trunks.

I hope to get Trunks soon, to pair it up with Vegeta.

these figures look real good, But im in the uk and can only find them on ebay from hong kong/japan. Any ideas where to get them. Also do you get then energy blasts etc with figures because they look awesome

Just buy them on ebay, shouldnt be that much of a difference. Might be even cheaper too, in some cases.

No energy effects yet. I'm guessing they will come with later, with less popular figures, as to add the sales factor to them. Ive seen Bandai doing this scheme often with their products.
