Maybe same reason why takara/hasbro always color soundwave's eyes red instead of yellow, as they think it'll look better :huh :lol

I can't bear to watch anime DBZ. I bought the pirated set a while ago, and I think I got the normal instead of the kai version. 30 min of watching and the story is still stuck in the same scenario, Goku shouting and the grounds rising up :slap

Btw, since I think you are more up to date with DBZ, I was wondering if you can recommend which manga version to get? They have the normal sized manga, and the slightly oversized with orange covers right.

Yes, the anime versions always put too many filler episodes and some boring plots..and well, some combats takes toooooo looooooong, 10 or 15 episodes while in the manga it takes just 1 or 2 issues :monkey4

About manga recommendations,..:/

I'm spanish and I read the manga in spanish here in the early 90s bro..therefore, can't tell you how or when was released in the US cause Du'nno ¿?? :dunno

There were released two manga series here (and still have them)

White label: DB form the begining and DBZ which ends up with the apparent death of frieza in Namek.

Red label: DBZ ( Mecha frieza, androids, Cell, Boo- End)

Looking at Evangelion the only decent figs(imo) were the Robot Damashii, which are fantastic in every way, but like idiots they release Eva-00 as an online limited exclusive bumping the price to $100!

The RD Evas are the best figures to date, but no way, there is so much to choose from for Eva fans. Many of which were great for its time.

Just to name a few,

NGE had the HG models kits, the PG kit, Sega figures, Kaiyodo Xebec figures, Revoltechs, SOUL Spec.

Rebulid had Robot Damashiis, Banpresto'S SCM Ex, HCM Pro (these sucked though), SOUL Spec, more Revoltechs, more HG model kits, and the upcoming RIOBOT just to name a few.

Back to DB, as a kid, I would often discuss with my cousins which characters and so and so we would like to see released as figures, and which one we'd get. But com'on, all the remotely good DBZ action figure lines only ever did the main main main good guys.

Kind of regretting not asking for the SDCC Gokou when my cousins went to SDCC and offered to help pick up anything I needed.

The repaint looks good VALVOLINER, so disappointed when I found out they weren't doing Gohan in anime colours. (blue belt)

Here's my version of the final Cell scene I did from a while back.

nice one Pantone

Can anyone tell me where i can PO Trunks ( Im in the U.K)

I hope they do a mecha Freeza to go with Trunks.

Anyone else think the Vegeta fig wasn't done as well as the others?

I hope they do a DB GT Vegeta i like his look there.

Id rather not get any figures from GT:monkey4

I agree with Vegeta. His shoes is missing the brown stripes triangle:lecture

I love the DBZ manga and the anime but I can't understand why Bandai always represent piccolo with yellow pachtes in the arms, instead pink ¿¿??:slap

hey Valvoliner im not sure thats correct dude,in the last bandai DBZ figures -the hybrid action series - Piccolo had pink arms, and before that the ultimate figure series and the old super battle collection he had the flesh coloured arms (not yellow and not really pink).

so dont be too harsh on bandai :) however why they went with the yellow colour for SHF is anybodys guess :cuckoo:

You could try a middlemen from Japan, which is normally the price of the figure + approx. 1,000 yen fee + shipping. I could PM you some info if you're interested.

But the page on the official site lists it as being available Internationally, so I reckon you could pre-order it off sideshow later on, since Vegeta was also listed as an International release.

Ami2 and HLJ wont get these Tamashii exclusives right (Trunks, SS3, Vegeta)? So I guess our only option now would be Sideshow, and I'm quite certain that they'd be carrying Trunks as well, now that they've got SS3 and Vegeta.

Will bigbadtoystore.com not deliver to you? Trunks is very fairly priced for tge sh figuarts for all you get.

Never use BBTS before, and I'm happy with SS's CS and shipping charges so far. Plus theres that reward points.

But now you mentioned it, I'll give BBTS a look. Do they normally mark item as gift and low value when shipping internationally?

i was checking out BBTS and they do have the best prices but when i checked the shipping prices i saw they charge up the ying-yang! holy cow!

They're definitely worth while for buying in the states but for me amiami is the cheapest, unfortunately they don't have Trunks :(

Yeah the shipping is high. that's why I choose the pile of loot option and send many preorders together. it actually becomes pretty cheap that way.

really? most of the time when you ship things together ( adding weight) it gets more expensive, at least it does with these Japanese sites.

I must experiment!

I just checked BBTS's FAQ, and they won't mark down value when shipping. There's no tax for items below $50, so if I do end up getting trunks, I won't get hit by customs. But shipping is a tad too expensive for BBTS, when comparing to SS's discounted Fedex shipping which are faster and way cheaper.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, amazon.com is saying vegeta will be delayed until jan. 15th. However, I got mine off ebay for 49.99 with free shipping and I asked the seller if mine would be delayed as well. He told me that it should still be on track for december 15th and also if you order by the 18th, you're guarenteed to get it by the 24th! (Only in the usa)

i wouldnt mind some of that info aswell :wink1:

PMed.

yeah ive personally used celga but i don't want unnecessary fees.

is this the official site?

Yep, though I'll probably wait for sideshow to put it up myself, unless they RRP it higher than Vegeta. Anyone have any idea how much they would charge International buyers for something small like this?

As a non-US buyer, I can't justify ordering from BBTS, because it seems to be double what SS charges.
