140 is the max I ever paid (or 100 euros anyway), for a ssj vegeta (that was arguably perhaps not entirely new, but in as-new state anyway).

And I foolishly paid about 80 euros for the first sdcc piccolo.

Those are and will remain the highest prices I'll ever pay. If I'd arrive at this line now...

Honestly good chance I'd not get into it at all. These prices are ridiculous.

I'm seriously considering getting another SSJ Vegeta so that I can do a head swap with a Saiyan Saga Vegeta and have a normal Vegeta with the torso armor. Bandai seriously needs to release one, as they already have all of the parts needed at their disposal.

Having just recently gotten into the line, I missed out on the low prices when they first debuted. Since I'm somewhat anonymous here, although still ashamed to a degree, I forked over $200 for SSJ Vegeta. He's my favorite character and the slight thinning face on the knockoff was bugging me more than anything. I feel like a paid $200 for an SHF SSJ Vegeta head because the knockoff body is almost identical.
That being said, I'm still happy I finally got him and don't regret it

I predict a Goku "Ultimate" Edition.

They'll release one body, with four different heads (Regular, SSJ, SSJ2 and SSJ3) and maybe a few different faces and hands but not as many as the other ones. Maybe a ki effect or two but not much.

Business-wise, it's the best way to reuse those sculpts and still make major money since you'll be releasing a hard-to-find/sold-out sculpt (SSJ3 head) and a brand new one that people want to "complete" Goku (SSJ2). Plus, I'm sure people will pay a slightly higher price to get the whole set. I know I would!

Been watching GT for my first complete run-through (I've seen episodes here and there) and I'd even like a GT Goku as well! Both kid and adult.

This sounds more like HT's than Tamashii's MO.

Yeah that wont happen Bardoon; Tamashii likes to make variations of figures seperate releases, they make more money that way. A package that has anything just doesnt make sense from their perspective.

Such teases showing sold out figures at conventions. I get that it makes the displays look better, but it's a bit of an f-you to those of us whose only option to get these figures is to pay 5 times the original retail price to a scalper.

3 that piccolo zero is so ****ing badass. I love that itsa pose thats almost undoable with the normal release, well chosen.

Uh, laddies, this is actually a GREAT sign because this gohan can be RERELEASED. Piccolo has been, I highly expect gohan to be rereleased too now.

Only goes to show that DBZ Figuarts is an exclusive collectors line, not intended for the casual buyer. It's like a "get em while they're hot" deal.

by the way thanks for the praises guys! It was a real pain in the ass getting Scouter Vegeta in that pose on his space pod lol. Someone asked about Gotenks, if he was only a tad bit taller then he'd be perfectly in scale with the others. As it is right now the Hybrid Action version is all we got. I can take a couple of photos for accurate size comparison if anyone wants to see for themselves. Gohan's ki effect is actually from a Saint Seiya set. The thunderbolts & effects on Majin Vegeta's boots are from a Majin Vegeta/SSj2 Goku gashapon and a Naruto gashapon, respectively. I did Goku's hand-standing pose that way because thus far I haven't seen him posed in any goofy way in anyone else's display yet. I don't know what else to type.

Very true! Awesome stuff Though now I seriously need to buy Normal Goku, Manga Piccolo, and 18 before I'm too late.

Same exact thing happened to the last Goku release on Amazon. My order shows a delivery estimate of July 9th.

Why not? it is confirmed that 17 is going to be around october-november, and Broly december-january
