They're loose in the sense of it falling off easier than most. Mine hasn't had problems when displayed but I know when I was playing around with it, and hit the wrong spike, the face would fall off. The mold on the head that holds the face is extremely weird too.

Hmmm... doesn’t sound too bad. Will be ordering then. Hopefully it’s not as bad as some of the reviews. Anyways, thanks for the reply!

I think BBTS is going to make some changes to their free preorder system soon. First the Hot Toys cancellations and now this? I think they’re getting really tired of folks preordering certain brands and then cancelling when other sites get them faster and in some cases...cheaper (can’t entirely blame them...they lose money).

That is the MSRP (list price) that is SUGGESTED by Tamashii (Hot Toys, Sideshow, Hasbro, etc. all do the same). If you look at the price of the figures, you'll notice the BBTS price is exactly the same as Amazon.com, ToyDojo, and some other websites (TheToySource.com will list them at that price too). Websites like Toyzinthebox.com and eKnightmedia actually sell them at a lower price point and a slight loss to compete with bigger sites like BBTS and Amazon. And Amazon is also notable for reducing their prices later (usually by a few cents or a dollar or slightly more) depending on pre-order numbers. Sites like Toyz and eKnight are willing to take the slight profit hit for the increased potential business.

I'm just talking about the Dragon Ball Figuarts. I haven't done enough comparison on the other imports to know if BBTS is doing a mark-up above the MSRP.

I mean import figures in general. Hot Toys and most Figuarts seem to have a better shake.

Anime pvcs are where they seem to be reaming people the hardest. Mafex as well. I don’t collect Figma very often, so I can’t speak for that. I’ve done the math, and yes I mean actual currency math, on at least a dozen pre-orders they’ve posted this year and nearly all of them were cheaper to buy from AmiAmi and have the item shipped with ems. And not by merely a few dollars either.

I hope Demonical fit releases other alien race variants of the soldiers so we can have a more varied looking army for figuarts Frieza to command

Well web shop in asia is a reg release in the US so itll probably be available from BBTS, Amazon etc, all the usual places. Personally ill order a few from nippon, then the rest from Diamond

What don't you like about the figure? I think it's gotten good reviews so far. Also isn't the ssj head it comes with already the ss2/rage head? (In the Manga is ss2 hair looks like that as well). Just curious as I want to see different peoples opinions of the figure. Although imo it's good, no neutral faces is a bit odd, and would've been nice if it included the small spirit sword (yellow one before it becomes sword of hope)

Im getting 2 gogeta for sure and the new broly too. As far as gogeta I could have my 2nd one repainted to fusion reborn worse case scenario lol

Im just a complaining person thats all lol but on the reals I just don’t like Super. Probably why I’m not into the figure. Idk about you or mostly everyone in here but when Trunks went back to the future, he went back as a bada$s even tho he wasn’t as strong as Gohan.

It just suck seeing someone who you loved and looked up to or always favorited turn into some other thing/bad written storyline from the creator.

How's your current display coming along, crisis? You always had amazing displays going on.

I dismantled the entire thing lol. Putting together dioramas are fun as hell but they can get expensive & time consuming. Maybe one day i will put together a new display

Looks like Gogeta won't come with a SSJ head.

I wouldnt expect him to tbh, its too easy for them to recolour him slightly and sell him again as the movie 12 version.
