Speaking of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tamashii Nations told a few people at Toy Fair and NYCC that they plan on releasing the 1990 version of the Turtles. Supposedly, they are the version they want to release the most.

Yeah, the 1990 movie version. It should be easy for them similar to these releases where they reuse the same body mold for all four Turtles.

Yeah but I'm sure there's people that will only want to get one set of figures from the movie. There were already people comparing the Neca figures to the Prime 1 statues.

accessory for the U.S. market.

The special accessory is a yellow-ish flame effect, which looks like it could work well with the DBZ figures.

I put in my order but I am honestly not a fan of that accessory to go along with Doctor Strange. I feel Tamashii Nations is pushing off an unwanted effect with a release they feel will do well. Hopefully that effect doesn't cause the product to not do well due to the pricing.
