Well, I took a chance and just drove out to a TRU semi near me and lo-and-behold they had four Megazord's on the shelf. Since I already got lucky and purchased the Power Morpher last month, I just bought two zords and got the 40% off of one of them.

I'm just opening one of them up now and messing around with it. It's not bad, but it's not as cool as the original toy imo.

Anywho, thanks to this thread and everyone who helped me get this deal today =)

Congrats! :rock :rock :rock

Can't wait until the Dragonzord in 2014 now. :rock

Is that SDCC Green Morpher only on eBay? I'd like to buy one without the hassle of going through there and RB already has a lot of people asking.

Yeah ma. I've been wanting to get one but the price keeps climbing. You're only gonna find it on eBay.

Yeah, sadly, Ebay is it....UNLESS, Bandai wises up and releases a non-exclusive version for mass distribution...which they should, if they're even the slightest business savy. :lol

As someone who waited in that dam SDCC line to get a morpher on a Saturday, I'll say that it should be re-released, but not with both white and green coins. You gotta let the exclusive one be somewhat more special than there just being a regular version that doesn't have the lame 24k gold coating, imo

I could not disagree with you more. Why should everyone else not have a green and white coin? The exclusive part of the SDCC morpher was the 24K coating.

Anyway... Do you really think the 24K coating ruined the morpher? Or is it nothing special?

Yeah, it's obvious they're just gonna remove that 24k logo from the box/morpher and sell it that way. It's the easiest thing for them to do and they're probably just waiting for the Dragonzord/Dagger release to get closer.

Again, because it makes the San Diego Comic Con 2013 exclusive that much less special.

I'm sorry if people couldn't go, I'm sorry if people couldn't afford it, I'm sorry if people were unlucky and didn't get one. But the fact of the matter is that by just re-releasing the exact same version minus one small feature (in this case a crappy gold coating that can easily be recreated with the same color and effect in chrome), you demean the original release and what everyone had to go through to get one.

So yea, don't just re-release the exact same thing minus a feature that does nothing to enhance the look of the original. Release it in different packaging, individually, and show respect to the point of people trying their hardest to get that one special SDCC exclusive that's hard to get :dunno

Um yeah, you need to be sending that to Bandai because its just what they do. Haven't most of their EX's been available elsewhere in similar fashion?

The rush to get them at the Con was so that you can get them immediately. Everybody else has to wait for a re-release. Did you really think that you were standing on line for something that wouldn't come out and be available to the masses? That Bandai wouldn't make as much of a profit on anything related to the green or white ranger because some people waited on a line?

I'm not saying not to re-release them at all. I'm responding to SanShou's reply to me that the exact same set should be released to the masses. I said in my first post about the coins that they should absolutely be re-released, but just not in the same duplicate packaging that we got at SDCC. Okay, there won't be the 24k gold logo, and the morpher won't be dull gold in color (being real gold) compared to a shinier chrome gold color. But that isn't enough of a difference to me as a collector and as someone who got to go to SDCC this year to painstakingly try and get one of these. Release each coin separately, at half the price, or the coins without the morpher packaged with the upcoming Legacy Dragonzord release - something other than the exact same package and setup that the SDCC versions had. I know Bandai is lazy and won't care, but it's just my opinion. There shouldn't be anything wrong with having one, should there?

I didn't say you shouldn't have an opinion. But so do I. My opinion is that Bandai was always going to re-release it. Most people here I think knew that. So I just don't see the point in going through those waits and lines to get something early (or to scalp it, whichever) and then complain about the it not being special when it's released in pretty much the same fashion.

If I'm going to feel like my waiting on line won't be respected by the manufacturer because pretty soon everybody will have exactly what I'd have in a few months (if that even bothered me, which it wouldn't), then I won;t wait on line for it. It's that easy. Had I been there and saw a long line I would have walked by it and said I'll just get it when it's more widely available. I wouldn't stand on line then complain...

It's special because you have it now when few others do. But you'd have it so that those things were put up on eBay at 6 times their value because people who live on the opposite ends of the country couldn't be there to get an opportunity?

ohhhh my goodness... I just finished reading (skimming lots) this entire thread. I had seen some photos of the green ranger floating around over the past month or so, and now I've learned about the whole series. And now I'm going to order red & green ranger and pre order pink. I'm torn with the white ranger. I've seen it mentioned, seems weird to have two tommy's, and I always preferred green. Although I think he was the white ranger on the show for much longer.

By the sounds of things, pink and white are gonna be tough to get your hands on. I guess I should pre-order a white while I can. If i want to sell it down the road, probably won't be that hard.

I am so pumped to add these to my collection which currently has absolutely nothing MMPR. It was my second obsession as a child (after TMNT)

EDIT: placed my preorder for white and pink ranger through amazon.ca

Any fellow canadians have experience ordering through amazon.ca? Never ordered with them. They say both figures will ship between oct 25 and nov 6. I actually decided to order 2 white rangers. I realized there is really no chance I won't want the white ranger. Perhaps I can keep one MOC, or I can sell it down the road...

Just saw a red ranger at a comic shop.. Couldn't believe how small it was. Not even 100% sure I still want them? They're definitely not 6", the new line of classic tmnt are 6" and I would ballpark these around 2/3 that size
