I'm assuming everyone is on here to discuss our mutual interest in Star Wars figures. It's annoying and a waste of everyone's time if you can't be civil and discuss things in a respectful manner. Cut the crap. This is directed at anyone this applies to. Let's keep this forum a fun and inviting place to be a part of.

So, 60 days until Rogue One! Great time to be a Star Wars fan. Who else's nipples are hard?!

Looking forward to Rogue One aswell, the last trailer gave me goosebumps!

Ftr, there is no "elite cell" here, I just call things as I see them, and would do so regardless of who it was. I am sorry if you thought I "humiliated" you back then; elite series is univerally laughed at and ridiculed, its not a series folks openly endorse.

I also recall already apologizing about that for sounding too harsh, in the same comment iirc, and I even tried helping you to post pics, no idea why it was brought up again, lets move on to the things that matter.

Nippon Yasan for me, if you ask they always mark the items value down which is invaluable for the Uk, plus they have cheaper than normal express shipping, which I need if I want to review figures quickly :p

I'll Remember this, cheers. I've always gone through a Amiami. But the customs is a killer like you say.

I pre-ordered the Death Trooper and the Tank Commander and I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting the Shore Trooper also.

The thing i like the most about the shore trooper is his colourway. Awesome and unique combinations right there

Just got delivery notification on my Bob's fett mafex. Despite all our worries over build quality, let's hope this icon is at least BS standard. I have 3po and r2....look awesome, despite dodgy arm which needed gluing.

I certainly is. I add it into the comments when buying if they could mark the items value down and as a gift and, in the dozens of figures bought this past year not one has been caught yet, touch wood :p

So for december im expecting 2 figures from amiami, 2 on january and 1 on feb. How big of a box does amiami usually use for, say, 2 figuarts? Haha sorry for the noob question. First time ordering from amiami. Im trying to estimate shipping costs

I reckon it will cost you about £25-30 rog

Yep, sounds about right. To be fair to them though, they do mention that there may be additional charges in the blurb on the eBay description, so it's not like you can't expect it. Such a shame you can't get these through UK distributors, they'd be as much, if not more, than Mezco cost in the UK though after taking all the costs into account. You pays your money and all that....

Give me a few days and I might know for one...

Thanks man, lemme know. Im worried they might put a single figure or 2 figures in a huge box haha

Not unknown,

The boxes my Mezco have come in have been huge compared to the actual figure. MyKombini used reasonable sized boxes as did the guys I got Maul from. My Mafex Vader was the same, though I did get hit for him. Sometimes it's not the size of the box but what's on the declaration that gets you hit.

That's what scares me. I live in the philippines and customs here can be uber corrupt. That's the reason i try to avoid ems as much as i can, ems here gets dropped to a central ems post office where all ems packages are brought, customs people in that place are a bunch of pytr baelishes. SAL (registered) on the other hand can be safer as it gets directly shipped to the local post office in our area...and, more often, gets through customs

Ohh, I see,

I was speaking purely from the point of view of UK customers. I really couldn't say what it would be like for where you are.
