I pre-ordered Padme from Mykombi. $79.95, but I used a $30 coupon. So only $49.95. Also used a $30 coupon on Chewbacca, so only paid $37.95. Getting these from Japan is the best option. Just have to be patient with the shipping.

They sent me an email telling me if I sell three items then I'll get a $30 coupon. Another time they sent an email telling me that if I sold an item for $100 then I get a $40 coupon. Good deals. The $74 ebay bucks was over the course of three months. I try to only buy on ebay when they offer a deal to collect 10% back in Ebay bucks on purchases. Without that deal it's only 2% which is only chump change.

Yeah I'm kind of phasing in and out of the SW figuarts line..it's getting too expensive..so I'm really picking and choosing what I'm collecting..it's really pissing me off that figuarts are making a lot of their figures $100 exclusives like Padme

I'll get my Padme for 60€ reg. shipping included at MyKombini. If EX would cost 100€ like you say, I would stop my SHF collecting right now.

Even though, I agree that SHF are getting kind of "elitist" in terms of price and availablity, while simultaneously, MAFEX has a regular policy and seems to be improving their quality, so slowly, but it is actually happening.

So, every time is more difficult nominate "Best 1/12 Company".

Then there are also Bandai 1/12 kits, but the new releases has been mysteriously dropped. They could make Imperial Pilots, Clone Commanders, First Order Flametroopers, Snowtroopers, Drivers, Droidekas, Super B. Droids, Grievous, Jango Fett... This time, no news means bad news.

And, well, those Black Series things... nowaday I can just recommend that new Leia because SHF has no plans for a release soon.

So yes, good days for 1/12 lines, but also the strangest ones.

WELP. Looks like if I want Kylo unmasked I'm going to have to pay for him again. LAPD won't do **** (no surprise there), my building manager won't reimburse me, and my renters insurance doesn't cover petty theft which this is...Anyone have any leads on Kylo unmasked for less than US prices? I already paid $90 for a figure I don't have. Really don't want to shell out another $120.

Did you pay with Paypay? Doesn't Paypal cover these kinds of things? You should be able to open up a case. Paypal is always boasting about how they protect the buyers. They don't do much for the sellers, like Ebay.

Paypal protects from shody sellers, the seller did his part and shipped, a stolen package has nothing to do with paypal as the seller has no control

I only really wanted Han and a Stormie, then I got 1/6 versions of both. I've got my eye on the 1/6 Yoda that Bandai are doing, then I think I'll be done, well, unless they do 1/6 model kits of the droids.....

Better late than never haha. The likeness i find a bit...inconsistent (depending on the angle and lighting). Still, he's the best Han figure out there imho. And i love the little guy.

Their web exclusive figures are the same price as the ones not sold exclusively through their website. Keep in mind, via licensing agreement, they are not able to sell their Star Wars line in most markets. Thus, 3rd parties and their high mark ups.

Spot on. The higher prices can't be blamed completely on Tamashii, it's 3rd parties that inflate the price because they have to pay retail for them too. The web exclusive tag is used on items Tamashii don't think will sell well in bulk, and from the views on my YouTube videos alone I would say the prequel figures fall neatly into that tag.

The model kits always are slightly bigger, I noticed that with the 1/6 Stormtrooper. It's possible, being model kits, that they are more true to scale. With just action figures around to compare them with it is difficult to judge that though.
