Cover me!

This figure is stupidly over engineered to the point of making it a terrible figure from a technical stand point. But its certainly a nicer looking figure than the first Mando from Figuarts. I can tell Mafex will blow it away in the end. But its pretty aside from the helmet sculpt.

Agree 100%. I got so frustrated with it yesterday I ended up setting it aside. Great shot, btw!

Thanks!

And now playing around with "The Child" and holy crap is this hot garbage. Great sculpt and paint (though something seems a little off, I think TBS nailed the face better). The cheerio sleeve cuffs are so horribly lazy in execution. The skeletal body manages to be incredibly stiff and feel very delicate at the same time. Playing with it is just an exercise in frustration.

I guess it at least looks nice if you don't look too close.

Did anyone else get a stand with Mando and Child? Nin Nin packed in a Bandai SW Emblem Stage for me, which I didn?t order.

Beskar Mando didn't come with a stand. Baby Yoda's pram came with a transparent stand to get that floating look, though.

Great photo! Seen a lot of negativity about both of these but they can look excellent with a bit of patience and skill.

I find the negativity to be 100% warranted. The child is pretty terrible, Mando isn't great. They both LOOK great. But are too over engineered for their own good. If I wanted a puzzle box action figure, I'd collect transformers lol.

I do wish they'd just include one full complete rifle in the box instead of all the parts. Too finicky. The Child I'm not a fan of either, but I think the heads absolutely blow Hasbro's out of the water. Worth it just for them.

So has IG-11 been released in Japan yet? The due date for paying on import orders elapsed a couple days ago. Curious if that means he's about to drop.

Saw this on Rebelscum. Looks amazing! Should have mine by tomorrow or Monday!

Still waiting for Nippon Yasan to ship my Beskar Mando and Child. Paid my pre-order back on 09/10 and it's been sat on "preparation in progress" since 09/25. I opened a help ticket with them last week but no response yet, sent a chase today. Never had any problems with them before but getting a little worried now.

If its sitting on preparation in progress for this long it's probably like my palpatine was where I didnt realise japan post wasn't shipping airmail or EMS to my country due to covid so it doesn't ship it just sits there. Though it's odd you haven't got a reply to your ticket cause I just had to contact them about my IG-11 this week to change the shipping to UPS and they replied within an hour.

Thanks NoenGaruth, I think that's probably it as I'm pretty sure it was Japan Post airmail. Hopefully they'll respond soon and I can just adjust it.

So after this week’s episode who thinks Figuarts

might be revising that Jabba?s Palace Luke they were working on
