I think that the coolest figure that monsterarts can make is a predalien because there are not too much figures out in market, and the ones that are alredy out are no so good

Hi All,

Just got back from my first day working at NY Toy Fair and I was able to speak with one of the Japan reps from Tamashii Nations. It looks like after Big Chap, they are going to release a second version of Wolf with more accessories. He said that version will be at TF so we'll see how it differs exactly (Today we were just getting all display cabinets up and running which is extremely daunting). Tomorrow is the fun part, setting up all the figs! This is kind of a bummer to hear though since they could have easily included the guns and shurikens with the first one but you know how this business is.

The good news though is that they are looking at doing Jungle Hunter next if all goes well with the first releases.

Well that sucks! I was going to skip Wolf and Wait for the other release but if the first release doesn't do well, there won't be another. Now I have to buy it and hope a second release comes.

Hmm that's kinda backwards, usually the first release includes more accessories and a bonus or two not the second. Seems like they are rewarding those who skip the first release. Now I may wait to get one.

Otomofan do not purchase from China they are bootlegs. Scanned package and poorly painted. The soft rubber parts are hard on the bootlegs and they break real easy.

does anyone know where i can write to the makers of the s.h. monsterarts alien to get a replacement part? one of my aliens came with a broken hip joint. just need that little part for replacement.

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd share some new info I learned about this line after speaking with a different Tamashii Rep today. He handles all the licensing and product development stuff so he knows everything about the future of Tamashii Nations. Even though they do want to eventually create a Jungle Hunter and City Hunter, the next planned group of figures are actually the AVP Preds (yes, all 3). They feel they are better suited to go with the Alien Warriors and they would like to make Grid as well.

There's a new Wolf prototype on display which is basically the same thing as the one coming out but it just has more accessories. It has 2 guns this time, the land mines on his bandolier and the shuriken (although I didn't see it there). He called it full artillery Wolf. Most of you will probably just want to wait for that one as it's the same figure with a bit more. If you want two versions, you might want to get the one coming out this month as well as it has more of a post battle look as he's missing the landmines and a gun. I'm not quite show what the point was in that decision but it is what it is. Maybe the official specs will reveal more. I'll get both so I can have one masked and one unmasked.

While you're there.... (sorry for the off topic) Could you ask him about Tamashii's R2-D2?

Their 3PO was pure class & we need R2 to go with him!
