I will say, when "cut and sew" is done well, and appropriate, it is amazing. Lobo is a great example. And quite frankly, say what you want about the PVC, the face, etc... but SS MoS suit is flawless.

Agreed. I dig fully sculpted more, but when used correctly the fabrics can really look great - for instance I think that new Batman and Catwoman look amazing with fabric costumes.

I don't think there's anything wrong with cloth except the test of time. The one thing I will give Sideshow is their ability to incorporate the cloth aspect successfully. Their fabric game has constantly improved. I think for full formed costumes it can be tough but they have seemed to find a mixed medium. Modern Cap and Thor come to mind.

Lobo was phenomenal as well. There's no doubt SSC's mixed media pieces are much better nowadays. They certainly have stepped up their game. That all said, I still prefer fully sculpted pieces for the most part. However, there's no denying some pieces look incredible in mixed media. I couldn't imagine my modern Thor or Lobo PF as fully sculpted pieces. The mixed media adds so much to those PFs.
