Thanks I'm pleased I managed to track one down, paid £380 for it but hope its worth it. I can't believe the price of the Hulk vs Spiderman diorama on ebay!! £799! when on sideshow it sold for $299!!! Its crazy, I'm keeping my eyes peeled to their website from now on! Just subscribed to their newsletter. I have only just got into sideshow this year when I got the Daredevil bust and then had to get the hulk vs silver surfer. Now I'm hooked, always went for bowen or hard hero before.

OMG!!!! I just saw a completed listing on Ebay for the Hulk vs Spiderman Ex diorama and it sold for £919.00!!!!! It is just unbelieveable that Sideshow were selling it for around $299!

Yeah the first few Sideshow Marvel dioramas are classic...

X-Men vs. Sentinel #1
Hulk vs. Spider-Man
Wolverine vs. Sabretooth
Captain America vs. Red Skull

Hopefully they'll get back to the good ol' days dio's. Planet Hulk vs. Silver Savage could've been a major hit if they would have add some more size to that dio'.

yeah, that's all they've been for quite awhile. the last decent sized dio was IM vs Namor. which i of course have and i'm quite happy with it. it was and may still be up on the ssc which i can't believe.

Perhaps a Cable & Deadpool piece or maybe Cable VS Bishop/Apocalypse. Juggernaut/Loki/Destroyer/Absorbing Man VS Thor to name a few.

It'd be nice for SS to do a dio on some untouched characters.
Perhaps a Cable & Deadpool piece or maybe Cable VS Bishop/Apocalypse. Juggernaut/Loki/Destroyer/Absorbing Man VS Thor to name a few.

I agree would be nice to see the dio line branch out a bit, especially since most those characters have had lil to no love from sideshow as of yet.

And to answer the thread question, I think if it's a choice of EXs then the dio wins (unless you don't want the option of displaying wolverine unmasked). If it's both reg, then I'd say that in a few years they might be about the same price. Right now? The dio is more valuable but not by much from what I've seen.

Which one you should get boils down to person choice I guess. If you simply want me to pick one for you, I'd say go with the dio. Just be advised that the dio series are around 1/7 (or is it 1/6?) so they are quite wee

Yeah, I went for the dio, should get it tomorrow. Most of my pieces so far are small anyway so it should fit in better. I have put my name on the wait list for the hulk but think its unlikely to convert to an order as its a fairly old statue for a wait list. Will have to wait for my wofe to get me the Hulk for christmas LOL

How could I forget about this HUGE Marvel diorama...

This is the best, most recent Marvel diorama done in a long time. Now getting one without a broken shield is the bigger question concerning this dio'.
