Still my favorite Marvel diorama to date...:yess:

Awesome - Colossus did you get your grail? Love that piece but don't hold out much hope of getting it now prices on it have sky rocketed - I'm in awe of your collection btw, that massive colossus, who made that one?? I need to keep my ear to the ground for new pieces from now on.:clap

No not yet it still eludes me, but it will be mine. Thank you for the comment Wolverine, Appreiciate it.
The Colossus you speak of is a Custom 1/4 scale 24" with base.

Its absolutely amazing and your collection really is an inspiration to me. Do you think you will get the upcoming Kotobukiya Colossus danger room statue? I don't own any Koto pieces and not seen one in the flesh so not sure if they are worth getting or not? A few years ago I got bought a Diamond Select statue for christmas or something and it was shockingly bad. I have Bowen and Sideshow atm

Yes, I will be obtaining the Koto Colossus and they all are very very close to Bowen as far as displaying them together Koto/Bowen works for me.
I was just looking at your Collection and I see some Sweet Pieces, pointing out the topic of this thread Wolverine vs Sabertooth and the Hulks just to name a couple. Do your future plans include any PF's of CQ's.
I like your setup Wolverine :exactly:

I definitely will get a Comiquette, not too sure about the PF's, I don't like the look of the Hulk one and for some reason the cloth on the wolverine one puts me off, somehow it makes them look a bit cheaper, if that makes any sense. I very nearly bought the Colossus one but the size of his head put me off a bit, I saw it in a store in London and it really struck me as being out of proportion to his legs and torso. So I put my money towards something I really loved. Will be keeping my eyes peeled though thats for sure. I think I will get the Koto Colossus and probably the Wolverine danger room too. Have asked my wife to get me the Ironman Koto for fathers day too LOL:yess:

Eveyone has there own styles, Collect what you want and receive enjoyment when displaying; and everytime you walk by your Collection you Smile. :exactly:.
I agree with you on CQ Colossus thats why I do not have him in my Collection, that said I will get one and have a New head done to correct size, planning for the 4th QTR on that.

How about Thanos and Mistress Death? :monkey3

And to answer the thread question, I think if it's a choice of EXs then the dio wins (unless you don't want the option of displaying wolverine unmasked). If it's both reg, then I'd say that in a few years they might be about the same price. Right now? The dio is more valuable but not by much from what I've seen.

Which one you should get boils down to person choice I guess. If you simply want me to pick one for you, I'd say go with the dio. Just be advised that the dio series are around 1/7 (or is it 1/6?) so they are quite wee

true, but i still consider that a Com and not a dio for some reason.:dunno

damn i've gotta get mine displayed, truely one of ssc's best. and of course it's one of the earlier one.:lecture

Isn't that how it always works in the collectible hobby? That old stuff is made to last and stand the test of time. Then when the company makes it, hits it big, they try to find cheaper ways to make the product while increasing their bottom line.
