Sorry for the delay in getting these up but it's still very early.

There is no specific release date yet and the price is not 100% final, it may increase or decrease. If the price increases, you guys can get a full refund.

as of today buddy, wouldn't be fair to you guys If I went back and charged shipping for the Tumblers

Like I said, It only applies to oversized items, In this case, 1/4 scale is huge and weighs quite a bit.

The shopping cart will show a shipping quote before you checkout, you have to click on "estimate shipping & tax".

Shipping the small stuff to the US is actually cheaper than to most provinces in Canada. They offer more less expensive options to the US then they do to Canada.

I'm sure there you will still be many statues under 15lbs you can grab the free shipping on.

Flat rate would work. Sideshow got it right by charging us a flat rate of $25 on most items. Just an idea. Have you tried exploring other options other than Canada Post?

Not SSC statues I think most 1:4 statues are above the 15lb mark but I guess that's what it has to be.

thanks for the feedback, I know this sucks guys but you have to understand the business side of things as well.

Here is what I'm going to do

I'll do 2 flat rate shipping fees, for example the 1/4 scale Batman will be $12.95 anywhere in Canada. For something larger like the Tumbler or the Hullk Maquette which is 41lbs, it'll be $19.95

No statue will ever cost more than $19.95 to ship.

I know shipping in some situations will still be more than $20 but I'll cover the rest. These flat rates will help cover at least some of the costs.

I have looked at other options like UPS, Canpar etc.. and they are more expensive than Canada Post.

I think this is fair for everyone, I want to do what's best for you guys.

Obviously I don't want to lose you guys as customers so I think these flat rates are better than most places.


What do you guys think? Your feedback is very important to me.

You will need to do something with your item page because it's a little misleading. It says free shipping even though you wrote a it's not.

Your flat rates are fine. What's going to be a deciding factor is the selling price of the product. If SSC offers reward points at 5%, it may factor the decision. But really it comes to the selling price that will decide on the purchase.

good thing I snuck in my PO with the Camo Tumbler lol.

But to be honest, even when you charge us the flat shipping rate, it's still cheaper to buy through you Marcio. We won't have to worry about import fees or anything like that.

Now, how would the shipping work on the Bat? Because I'm assuming you'll have to rent a semi to ship it to use

I'm just a small guy compared to Sideshow, you're on the West coast so maybe shipping isn't too bad for you from them. Do you get hit hard with duty and tax?

That's what I was thinking as well, buying from me you don't have to worry about any import fees.

You buy many 1/6 figure so you'll always get free shipping on them for sure!

I'll have to see the dimensions on the Bat once it's officially released, I'm most likely not going to charge more than $24.95 flat rate for it. That is going to be such a unique piece in terms of size and weight.

Well maybe I wouldn't be getting SSC statues but I will still get GG (looking forward to Honey Trap line), HTs, PVC figures such as the Bishoujo line and maybe the HGC statues too. As long as its priced right, you will still get my money

On the SSC customs. I'd signed up with FedEx do the brokerage fee is waived off. Strangely enough, they sometime charges me GST instead of the HST.
