Oh man, I am not looking forward to that, this was an easy choice, people reading the rank the saga thread no my feelings on ROTJ, and also know mine on ROTS & ROTJ, that'll be a tough vote.

TPM is a bit of a sore spot for me. I still suffer from the sweaty night terrors, but the meds have helped. "Wizard!"

TPM has my fav. action scene of all the Star Wars films with the Maul, Qui, and Obi saber duel. And I don't hate TPM like so many do.

But Jedi has the second Death Star Battle, Luke beating Vader (with the awsome choral music), and Vader finally turning to the good side (with the awsome force theme booming when he goes after the Emperor).


So Jedi Wins.

Musically, that's my favorite piece in the entire saga, it was just so powerful, so beautiful, but too short . After that, I'd say Battle of the Heroes and the variations on the notes used in the ROTS duel, again, powerful and beautiful music there. A Star Wars box set was the first cds I ever owned and I was so thrilled to be able to listen to Star Wars music, I actually would just play the Luke defeats Vader music over and over again, it just touches my soul every time I hear it.

ROTJ - That moment where Luke just treads on the edge of the darkside... tapping into the darkness as he forces Vader to the ground and finally cuts off Vaders mechanical hand... and looks at his own mechanical hand... Gives me the chills EVERY TIME I watch it... and yes, that music in the back ground... guh....

Agreed. Not to mention the scene just mins later when Vader chooses to kill the Emperor. I saw this at a very young age and the theater went bonkers! Moments like that didn't happen in the PT movies.

Ewoks and Gungans cancel each other out.

TPM has :maul and perhaps one of the best lightsaber fights in the entire series; however, that's just not enough to counter Jabba's palace and subsequent Sarlaac Pit adventure, Yoda's death, the revelation of brother and sister, Lando & Wedge taking down Death Star II, Luke and Vader's most emotional lightsaber fight, and Vader's redemption.

ROTJ takes it easily.
