Don't worry about it bud. It looks great and as far as I'm concerned, the helmet and armor looks identical to the film. Remember, don't feed the trolls!

These helmets are near identical in length. I can find a slight difference in other things but the length seems damn close. Maybe the slope is throwing it off? I still love it. The one on the far left seems even longer.

Just a quick pic off my iPad. I think the position I have placed the sandtrooper is prob the best. Front on he just doesn't look right to me. Just the way he's holding the gun with a bent wrist, and he just seems to upright and skinny. Gutted really as from the angle I have him u can hardly see the MYC binoculars. On the positive you see more of his back pack. I'm wondering if there's another position i can place the binoculars as there too good not to be seen on the side view I have displayed the sandtrooper. I will get more pics up from different angles later.

Wow looks great but i can see that the sandy is bigger compared to snowy. Are they in the same scale? Or snowy is just a short guy? Hehe

The jaw, that part under the frown with the tubes of all trooper helmets from Sideshow, no matter if Stormtrooper or Sandtrooper PF or the 1/6 is way too big. Here is a comparison of the old Stormie PF with some other helmets.




Maybe you should take a visit to www.starwarshelmets.com and read about the helmets. Gentle Giant, Marmit did them right. Hot Toys made them quite close. SSC missed it in both 1/6 and 1/4. And for people saying all Stormtroopers look the same, this is a Stormtrooper too

How about placing them on the other shoulder ?

the weathering on the gun is a joke... other paint up looks great to me

I didn't know the head was not able to move on this. I'm very close canceling, I have to say . With the long face, toothpick legs, awkward stance, all of which I knew, & was willing to forgive. But the non moveable head, poor weathering paint on the gun (& it's poor fit into the hand), & the straps for the back pack, I think are pushing me to cancel.

Yeah, the weathering on the gun is bad but the sandy weathering on the armour looks very nice. Someone just did this comparison for me on facebook, and it looks like the left hand of mine might be at the wrong angle which is why the gun won't fit. That hand is fixed so maybe mine was glued in at the wrong angle? The top image is my PF.

Have a think about it and maybe get some other people's in-hand opinions too. The head itself looks and feels very nice, despite not being poseable. It has a great shine to it and is weathered nicely. I have the Boba Fett PF, and while the poseable head is nice it doesn't look as nice as the rest of the figure to me since it's plastic. I'm pretty sure the Stormtrooper has a poseable head that's polystone. Can anyone confirm? Mine is in storage, but I remember the head on that one being heavy but still poseable.

I'm just referring to the side screenshot. I see the tubes but overall the both seem the same length.

Still you know I love it heh and I thought the ST look skinnier in the movie than regs. Must be all the heat slimming them down.

Unfortunate with the crooked hand. You would think the peg is made to fit one way?!?!?

Common MYC time to whip up some helmets and guns. Maybe they can hire you for cleanup.

Yes, I have the Stormtrooper & his head is very maneuverable. I like my Stormtrooper heads just ever so cocked to the side, it just makes it look.... "right-er". & the SS Stormtrooper PF you can do that with.
I'll hold off my canceling, till I see a few others. But your review was very good.

Mine wouldn't fit either, so I bit the bullet and gentle pressed the gun into his hand. Seemed to go in ok but was worried I snap his fingers off. Lol
