the weathering on the gun is a joke... other paint up looks great to me

Perhaps a little bit of steam to soften the polystone a bit and then gently shape it to where it's supposed to go?

Nice idea. Might use this if I have to pack him up and then setup again. Also like Sisko has said the clips look like they could break. I clipped mine in but they did look like they could break and now possibly a weak spot on the clips now.

Steam? You mean heat.

Steam works best on thermoplastics. Dry heat causes the material to get sticky. Never use a heat gun on polystone.

So what's was the deal on the gun hand? Are all of the shipped ones like that?

I mentioned it to SS in an email about something else.

So far just this month my Probe Droid had a broken piston, my Voltron Art was defective and now my ST won't hold his gun or most likely won't when it comes.

Mine wouldn't fit either, so I bit the bullet and gentle pressed the gun into his hand. Seemed to go in ok but was worried I snap his fingers off. Lol

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks so much for this info. I figured the clips would go in if I forced them, but since I had to pack him up for storage I wasn't confident about being able to UNclip them. So I left them alone. I might unpack him and have a go at pressing the gun into his hand though. That really bothered me, so I'd like to know that it does actually sit in his hand properly.

Yeah those chicken legs ruins the statue for me.... plus the pose is awkward... Just my opinion but I think SS needs to clean house with their art department and get some new blood in there with fresh ideas..

I originally had a payment plan but paid it off last month but anyone who has POed or did flex pay or bought items not in stock knows they won't charge till it's there.

So since my original final payment was Jan. 5th it's been waiting til I just called. On hold for 42 min since they are short with Comicon.

It's paid and ships out tonight so I'll have it by maybe Friday but of course I won't be home when it comes right away. Nobody better open it lol

I'm running out of places to store boxes. I have considered breaking them down.

The challenge with breaking down the PF boxes is how to break down the styrofoam. Without the foam, the box isn't worth much. I have a really large attic, fortunately. Unfortunate that if the place catches fire, it's burning down in 30 seconds flat...

I have a large walk-in attic but it's has decorations and tons of unopened Halo figures. There is room but I guess my issue is that some of my HT boxes have the spare pieces in them and the heat is bad I thought. I am considering bagging and labeling them which is most likely what will happen.

Darn Jabba boxes are huge and I need to sell some of my halo stuff.

I'll have to spend time to rethink my storage options.
