What is the diameter of the base on this guy? SS lists it as 13" which can't be right and must include the gun sticking out.

That wouldn't be far off, the base is massive, very well detailed too.
You're telling me this has the same diameter base as the Neytiri Legendary Scale figure? That's just not possible based on her size vs his size and her stance vs his stance. I was thinking it was closer to 9-10".

It is closer to about 12-13" for the actual base, I already put him up on the shelf so just a rough estimate, problem is the skull sticks out from the front of the base and the gun pokes out the other side but I can measure later if you want an exact size.

Mines sitting in my house since Friday. I've been in Orlando since Wednesday but I'll be home early tomorrow.
Sideshow sent my #2 & #4 Probe Droid replacement legs but not orders to destroy the first ones? They are still useable but still defective. I'll work them into a Diorama one day maybe.

A bit indeed. Or could be the angle of the photo. But SSC didn't even bother to add more teeth to make it Stunt. And the lower part is still huge. Hopefully HT will make their 1/4 Stormie and then maybe a Sandtrooper too. Oh well...

I wouldn't expect anymore 1/4 pieces from Hot Toys to be honest.
Just it this together with my 5 & 7 year old. It's always fun and requires I go back later to put a few things on or the straps.
First impression was the weight. It was pretty heavy and the details are really good in person. My rat seems to not sit as secure as I'd like but after all it is a statue.
My gun easily pressed into the hand. The fingers just moved out of the way very nicely so I'm not sure if the other are different or what. I didn't do the straps yet or the belt ammo.
I'll admit the helmet in person is longer than it appears in some pix but it's still ok for me. Just need MYC to make some hint hint.
I'll take better if but I just got home and need to unpack and reset for the week. Watching the kids scream it's the Sandtrooper makes it all more worth it. They do it with them all and it's always a family event.
Got the MYC Binocs I'll adjust them later.

Where did the gun sit before you pushed it into his hand? Mine sits on top of his fingertips, I've tried pushing a bit but it looked like I could have snapped the fingers if I were to go any further so I just left it.
Try heating up the hand and fingers with a hairdryer. That usually makes them pliable enough.
