Sandtroopers and dewbacks

Im making my own gang of Crimson Aces pilots/mercenaries/bounty hunters. 1 of them used to be my medi boba Fett, 1 is a bash of boush leia and sith anakin, and the other 1 is made from scratch but he's waiting for his helmet to be delivered and painted up. They also have their R2 unit with them. Their all still WIP paint wise.

I love my mandalorian i started on him a few days ago, but he still needs some more painting though. All the leg, thigh, boot, groin armour and the holsters, belt, straps and leather chest is all made from scratch.

What body is that on the Mando. And are those Medicom gaunlets and hands??

BBI G3.5 bodies on all of them, and yeah their the original hands and gauntlets. Unlike the poor medi stormies the fetts hands are pretty decent size wise.

LOL cheers Gals... And yes it is a fine man bag... you know you will all want one!
I love his stance, those TT are so good for posing, even if it is a camp pose. The Rookie is all Gun and does not know what to do with it, he probably could not hit the side os a Sandcrawler and 100 yards. LOL.

The first guy I do really like. I bought a head sculpt because it was similar to me. I wanted to get someone to do a sculpt of my head as I thought it would be really amusing...but paa I could not me arsed lol.

Imagine if we could all get sculpts done... Now that would be so funny Then we could all be stormies on a miniture scale, well except for DG as I guess he's about 6 foot 3

Thought I would have a play with a one of the tt heads. See what would happen when I hacked into him and chopped his cheeks down a bit, scared him up and gave him a bit of stubble.....

I'd like to have a head sculpt of myself.... Might be inclined to set myself up in some Jedi garb just to fulfill my sense of self importance though, afterall, not too many Stormtroopers seem to go out in a blaze of glory.

You should check out C-Phan's custom mandalorian squad, its friggin awesome what he done with hasbro and tomy minature helmets

Just about done with my Dewback.... I didn't realize how damn big he is! Takes a bit of time to cover him with more then one coat then to dry brush, highlight, etc..... anyway. I need to finish the underbelly and nails, touch up the molded saddle and harness where I slopped paint on it, give her a clear coat then put the saddle and bags on and I'm done..... Sounds eerily similar to what my wife says when she's getting ready for a night out...

Would have finished last night but it was hot as hell where I live last night and I work in my garage.... my poor bald head was dripping sweat.

I went to a 1" sponge brush for some portions, but at the begining I was using a small decor brush too...

I did consider the sponge approach but just found the brush easier in the end.

I used a small garden broom, a decorators roller and a pair of DGs old y fronts. The underpants were used to get the dirty grubby effect, and the authentic smell of the Dewback. I then passed Dgs pants on to yautja to weather up his Sandtroopers.

DG's y-fronts had no negative effect on the plastic? I would worry about deterioration over time.
