Thanks man :duff

Guess it would be advisable to glue the legs into a fixed position... would hate to go through all the work and then turn a leg by accident and destroy the hidden seam :lol

I'm glad SS put out some of the small stuff like that, since they go cheap on eBay and such because people seem to only want that if they got Jabba.

I love the exclusive scratching Womp Rat - in fact I love all the SS little critters.

Although West End Games (which is authorized canon material) wrote that Dewbacks eat Womp Rats, I can't imagine a Dewback actually chasing and catching one! Unless they dig them out of their burrows.

There are some incredible dioramas and customs in this thread.

Ron, you've turned your Dewback from a toy into a high class statue!

Thank you for the answer. I need to buy me some 1/6 womp rats!

Luis

No problem, Luis. I love all the background detail in Star Wars, and am gradually building up a large collection of the WEG books.

Oh, and you can never have too many Womp Rats!

May be just like how turtles are usually thought to be slow, but they are not, mine can haul some ass when they have a reason to:lol.

Show it a bit of lettuce and it'll rocket across the garden!

I have an image now of a Dewback surrounded by fleeing rats, running between its legs and diving down burrows. And the one who stops for an untimely scratch is the one that gets eaten!

Ron, now you have to add some Wompies to your diorama... Maybe a head poking out of a hole.

well, the only Dewbacks we get to see in the movies are being rode upon by a sandtrooper with all his gear attatched to a saddle... so if you took everything off his back, maybe a Dewback could run faster?

HI All

Guys again thanks so much for all the kind words and Kuat of Kuat I think that would look great I 'll have to find one now. And here are some close up shots of the gear and the weathering I did to them.

Been working on getting some Marmit troopers together. Here are some of my body mods. First one uses nylon bearings and Magic-Sculpt sockets. I love how Marmit bodies can be screwed and unscrewed together so easily. :joy I'll get these completed one of these days. :duh

Trying to replicate some of the better pelvic joints.

Can your Marmit bring his legs up? Second Marmit using a Sideshow lower body.

Hemble, they've got womp rats on Toy Anxiety right now! I'd grab one quick before he's gone!

EDIT:

oh nevermind, he is gone, did you get him already? If not they still have the creature pack for $40 with the womp rat in it...

How much was the rat?

Luis

I think it was $14 or $16 or something... so wait a minute! That's more than a 3rd of the price of the boxed set of 3 ($40), when it's the second smallest creature... although the price of the other 2 creatures does add up to $40... it just doesn't seem distributed well among the 3... it basically means, if you want all three, buy the boxed set cuz it costs the same as getting them loose, but it comes with the original packaging too...

oh well, he's gone now anyway...
