I love the sculpt and as Jessica said, He does look like that Gorilla on the television series! Variety is what I am always looking for! Apes, Apes, Apes!

I have to agree with Jess and Kfog he looks exactly like that gorilla from the race. The long snout is just perfect. He does need some teeth though.

And I haven't found a suitable Nova yet...I think a repaint of the Sideshow one would suffice. What do you guys think? It's just that the SS version has a stoopid expression.

You didn't get any of the Taylors or Nova or Brents did you Jess? Brent doens't look like Brent at all. I don't know if a repaint on Nova would make her look any more like Linda Harrison or not. Maybe HT will make her. I know the Medicom Nova looks just like Linda Harrison!!!

My thought's exactly Dr Z.I was blown away the day that I actually got to see one in person.

I agree-Medicom's Nova is the best one out there. Need to figure out how to expand/enlarge that head though. Ian has been too busy to take care of us apes...and then a face transplant needs to occur.

Here is a photo of Sanjulian's artwork. It was the best I could do with what light was left. Drew of BLAMventures saved the smaller numbers for the ape fans, and I got #35 of 500 prints.

I know people have had their issues with some of Ada Chan's sculpts in the past but I think her Brent is awesome.

Do you have a painted version of Ada's Brent enaud? I saw the unpaited version and I was on the fence. Paint always helps!

Sure does! I always think of the part in Plaent of the Apes when the astronauts are walking in the Forbidden Zone and we "see lighting but no rain". In my mind, that is the mutants

my guess is the "lightning without rain" was the inspiration to give the Mutants the ability of illusion... the filmmakers, much like the writers if the Conspiracy book, looking for angles to tell more stories...

I had the Brent sculpt and really liked it. It is much better than the Sideshow head. I was just to lazy to paint it, so I gave it away.
