This is a wonderful idea. I'm really hoping to see more pictures of this scene as it develops.

Have you guys seen this Conquest photo before?

This was one of the first pictures I ever saw in newspaper print when I was a kid. There were many photos in that newspaper. It was called "The Monster Times" and it was an all ape issue filled with Planet of the Apes and King Kong. It's really cool to see this picture again.

This Conquest picture obviously shows a unknown chimp. I have a question. In the book "Conquest for the Planet of the Apes," who is being pulled down the stairs forcefully by this human handler? Someone here has to know the answer.

That photo reminded me of taking my 5th grade class to UC Irvine and the guide mentioned to my students that parts of Conquest was filmed there. My kids had a look of, "Yeah, so?" I was like, "Freaking cool!"

I had EVERY Monster Times magazines that featured Apes. I haven't thought of that mag in awhile

And it's been even longer since I read "Conquest". Was it Aldo?

Interesting, the Conquest novelization was written by John Jakes who was known during the 70's and 80's as the mind behind The Bastard TV miniseries.

Bingo PZ! It was Aldo in the book. He was fighting up a storm swinging his chain over his head and taking out his captors. That was a perfect time for Caesar to flee.

I'm glad to see that Snickertown put the lights in his Icarus ship using the optics that I found for him. That looks just awesome lit up! Matt Sostis is doing a wonderful job for Snickertown in building this. I'd love to see this in person!

Hey! Has anyone heard about the Consiracy book?:angelsmil

As you know, I used to sell these unpainted Caesar statues for $100 with free shipping anywhere in the USA. The painted ones I sold for $150 and I think I sold about ten of them before calling it quits.

I decided to list this one on eBay starting and .99 cents just to see how much it would go for. It may sell for a mere $60, which would be a great deal for someone considering what I sold all the other ones for.

I'm sorry you're not interested. If you change your mind, bid it up. :hi5:

I'm going to another Kiss concert soon and need some extra money. Everytime I go to see Kiss, it seems as if I sell a little more from my collection. Here's my sister and I just a few hours before the show.

That's true guys. However, I received a used SS Caesar in the mail today. He's going to get the KISS treatment by getting some spaceman makeup. Once he's done, I'll have one ape representing each of the four Kiss members. :rock

You ought to do Vinnie Vincent as an ape. He was so feminine, you could use Zira for him and he would probably look stunning.
