I actually owned this one for awhile several years back... but my new born daughter at that time needed clothes and diapers so I sold it. She's now 14.

It's a fun piece. I've always wanted to buy it back but there is always something else I'm saving up for.

I've been asked to write another article for the Forbidden Zine. I hope I do a good job. Don't know what to write about yet.

Haha, what ever happened to all those copies? :horror:monkey2

Of course I will. Hopefully by Christmas. Can you all send me a PM with your address again and I will get on it? Also, would you want me to include any other shorts, or just the apes?

Hey sticks! If this is the one with the apes, star Trek, and Romans, I already have it. Is there another? Thanks, Kent.:dunno

Well I could always add the Brotherhood of Arms commercial. Do you still want another copy of the Ape commercial?

I'll try to get them out sometime next week if that works for everyone.

Need you ask the question brother! :exactly:

Thanks, Adam!:panic:

Guys this is the joker I was working on, Mego scale. I am giving up on it, as my heart is not in it. It is sizing too big now, so eff it. I want to work on apes and samurai.

... I’m trying to get caught up on the cool stuff here. (I’m looking forward to more of Jessica’s ape heads.)

Just thought I should mention that the resin head that _Darkness _Predator bought isn't from Apes. It's the Schlockthropus from John Landis' first project "SCHLOCK". Rick Baker created the costume, which Landis himself wore. Haven't seen the film, but I hear it's rather amusing...PS

Thanks for the info just in case. I also think the artist truly captured the pose of the referenced Schlock character perfectly. (I liked all the replies.)

The individuals that post often here are great and are very tolerant when I share my crazy ideas. It is good to visit this area full of POTA fans I can identify with. The Planet of the Apes movies boxed set was the first DVD or this case DVD set, I ever purchased.

BTW
Here are photos of the experimental results using those little brown wigs on eBay. It would have been better to find the raw materials, because I had to cut it up anyway. I don’t think it turned out good enough to try an orangutan head. This one will be another ape in the crowd that I will someday assemble. (I’m finally purchasing 7.5 acres and will start on my dream home with my own museum with a special simians section.)

I've included a picture of my effort to make a custom predator that enjoys hunting simians.

I really like the recent diorama photos. The diorama (and the photographer) actually tells a little story... well not too “little” considering the size and scale. ;) I'm looking forward to more stuff.

WOW. Hairing up the chimp looks awesome! I wonder if that's how the hot toys ape will look. You did a great job with the hairline!

I am shocked at how well that chimp looks with hair. I think it looks better than the way Hot Toys haired up their gorillas!

I love it as much as the HT's and hope that they offer us something similar to these.
DP, can you tell us how you pulled that off so magnificently?
