Looks like Profiles in History is getting ready for another auction!

And it looks like they are selling a orangutan outfit and a partial ANSA outfit too:

Those costumes would be great to have but this is what I would get if I had the money....

The special Lawgiver prop head that BLEEDS!!!

I missed that show. :gah: I think they are re-showing it tomorrow. Hope I remember. And this reminds me of yet ANOTHER unfinished project...my Mego scale Lawgiver! I'm going to have to try to revisit that project.

guys--the wig they put on that female chimpanzee is weird. i hate the way there's a split down the middle.

the time of stress is over. thank goodness. i hate being caught between a rock and a hard place.

Haha, I knew it was just a matter of time before you'd be all over that.

PZ, You're right, wow the Bleeding Law Giver bust for sure!!! :thud:

AS promised here are a few stills I just popped off. Have a good night.
Angel, that's your old Bridge Keeper. :)

TDP---someone on the apes yahoo group had said that I should sculpt a gorilla pullover in 1:6 scale. I will, one day.
There is a pullover ape mask that shows up on ebay [search 1:6 heads] from time to time. I have one from a few years back, when they were cheaper, and wish I'd gotten more.
I think you'd be wasting your talent on a "pullover" mask, when you have such an eye for detail.

Hey don't throw away your market. I need more props.:panic:

Me TOO!!! If you're getting rid of stuff PLMK!!

Sticks--those are really fun photos! I like the new wall/cage...and the Hot Toys gorillas look excellent. I want to get rid of the market scene huts--but they need to be broken down and they are Mego scale...

IM--I need to sew a couple of outfits, bang those out this week. I really need to get back to sculpting apes. Maybe I'll try Dr. Galen...or finish up Lucius. Still have to finish that damned joker.

Guys I think I will have an ape meet me at Wondercon and I am so stoked! We'll have to do something fun together in costume--like take photos on a cable car. I'll have to see..and hopefully I won't have to bring my little gorillas so all I would have to worry about is me. Wow I just may color up my Zira foam latex appliance today!

Wow, Sticks great pics. I really miss seeing your work here!

That shot of Nova reminds me so much of when the gorillas put her in a cage separate from Taylor.

Just thought I should mention that the resin head that _Darkness _Predator bought isn't from Apes. It's the Schlockthropus from John Landis' first project "SCHLOCK". Rick Baker created the costume, which Landis himself wore. Haven't seen the film, but I hear it's rather amusing...PS

Thank you all so much. It truly feels great to be filming again. I've had two filming gigs this week, and that has really lifted my spirits.

I'm working on a commercial for the Tacoma Cobras football team, part of the PDFL league, and today I filmed an Italian opera at Seattle's Central Library. Having my equipment out and about helps encourage grabbing one of my gorillas and to start filming. Hopefully many more pictures will come. Thanks again everyone. :)

Yeah... the origin of the piece was already discussed back in August on this thread starting with post 17198. We just didn't know who bought the piece. Until now.

I also started a separate thread for the piece when it first went up for auction. The link is here:

We know our apes around here. :monkey3:monkey3:monkey3

And, speaking of heads.....
Would anyone here be interested in copies of enlarged to 1:6 heads from the Mego Planet of the Apes series? Or any of the other Mego heads for that matter?

Hmm... Mego to 1:6? :monkey4

1:6 to Mego maybe but that's just me. Thanks IM

Jom, I wrote two replies now regarding what you said about Nova but I guess neither one made it. Darn computer freeze. In short I was toying with the idea that Nova was with child and she was now showing signs of detachment from her clan. Something these apes found troublesome. :wink1:

I've found someone willing to enlarge heads but I need at least 5 to make it worth the work.
I was hoping to get Burke & Virdon, A few apes [maybe with added detail to fit in with the 1:6 better], some Space:1999 heads, Starsky & Hutch....
