Good luck with your sales, Angel. I am waiting for you to sell your Escape Zira and Cornelius. Not buying them though...can't afford. Sucks to be poor.

I am so excited about Urko. Here's my workstation, on the floor in Ash's room.

The magic of this type of hair I am using:

I like my gorillas to have a little bit of curl. He's going to get a haircut, too. This is not the finished product. There's lots more work to be done.

Guys I know nothing beyond the walls of Ape City. What is this Apexplorers about? Not ape but apex? Those are the stylized gorillas, right? My heart just skips a beat when I skim the titles and see Ape...

General Urko is 50% done. I just need to paint up his face with makeup, and give him a haircut, and paint up and glue in his teeth. He's almost there. I love him so much. The owner wanted a streak of white hair, so that's the white you see in his hair.

Ape-o-nauts?!?

 Please post photos or links to photos.

I would like to see pics of the other ones also. :wave

Here are the some very old photos of my fave custom pieces:

These 3 photos show an early version of "Frank" from Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Frank was much improved since these pictures were taken many years ago. I just haven't taken any recent photos of him.

Here's my fave custom Taylor as made by Jungle Jom.

Here's another VERY OLD picture. I am unable to locate a better picture of JJ's custom Taylor outfit. This is the only one I can find. :(

If these pictures don't get you drooling about Planet of the Apes customs, then nothing will! What a fantastic display of customs! Angel, you should send these pictures to Hot Toys to give them some ideas and to spark their imagination!:lecture:clap

Angel, my favorites are still your C&Z. I love that movie so much. If you ever sell them, can you please let me know. I just want to keep a mental note of where they are.

I did make the Urko mask for someone in the UK, and I'm glad to do so because it's the first mask I have made from someone where I also sculpted the face. My gorillas the kids wore were Apemania masks. I guess that now I have the mold for my own Zira foam latex I theoretically could make my own deluxe pullover to save me time when I need to get my ape on. But that still doesn't satisfy the craving to glue down the prosthetics and make a total transformation.
