Hi Everyone,

I am new here and wanted to start sculpting so I could make my own action figures. Can anyone give me tips or some guideline about step by step procedure?

Thanks.

Buy some cheap tools, look around the house for different shapes to use as tools get some sculpy roll into crude skull shapes, roll eye size ***** then bake them, then you'll hav a firm base to apply further sculpy to, so when you push the chin the nose won't move. Or you won't squeesh the head whilst holding it

Hmmm I never thought of doing it that way, I may have to try that.

Also start with Super Sculpey, I use firm now because the super is way to soft for me but the firm will probably be way too hard for you now. Also use other heads you have to get proportions and shape down. Looking up some anatomy of the human skull and face structure doesn't hurt either. I should also mention I am in no way shape a form a professional nor a really good sculptor. I have just asked so many sculptor whom I look up to for tips, so any other help you need, just ask.

Chris
