Unless I happen to find some here in AZ, but so far unsuccessful. There used to be a place, but they don't seem to carry them anymore.

Star Wars Blu ray

"Fans will get an exclusive first look at some of the collection's extensive special features at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International -- which marks Lucasfilm's 35th anniversary as a Comic-Con presence. In 1976, the fledgling film company was looking for innovative, grass-roots ways to promote its underdog release, a film no one expected to succeed -- a space opera known (at the time) only as Star Wars. One of the first film companies to reach out directly to core audiences by way of fan conventions, Lucasfilm will return to the venue to showcase the full evolution of the epic story."

I'll be there. Again. And this time I'm bringing the wife, so be nice and don't be weird.

Mattel, Hasbro, etc have their own sales booths separate from their display/showcase booths. Gentle Giant and Sideshow have their stuff right there within their own booth. Expect long lines, especially at Hasbro & Mattel.

Yeah, Hasbro and Mattels are a pain in the but and you have to get tickets. Now, if you time it right you can do both without tickets as I did last year to get one final thing but thats rare. :lol

Mattel and Hasbro, as the others have said are usually very crowded. Typically you have to go upstairs to get a ticket, and the ticket will tell you what time you can get in line. Once in line You're usually waiting for 30 min to an hour before you finally get to a cashier. Then they limit how much of each product you can buy, and will stamp the back of your badge to show what all you have purchased there. All other booths you can usually go right up to them and buy what they are selling, if they are selling anything. Typically it's a good idea to watch the companies you like and see if they announce their exclusives. CCI usually will post a bunch of the exclusives on their website about a month prior to the con, but it won't be a full list. Some smaller booths will have exclusives not on the list. So start looking around for the whole month prior to the con to put together a list of exclusives you want.

Last year Mattel had a pre-order system ala Sideshow, and it worked beautifully... I suggest people do that. You actually pick up your stuff at a remote room @ the Marriot next door.

Yeah, that did make it easier but the only problem was they limited it to a certain % of the items they took to the show. They can't really go SS route and it be all PO because outside of He-Man I think the rest of their stuff is sold in stores.

Cool cool, thanks for the info. Yeah I was wondering how that worked. As of right now I really dont have anything in mind, I was just thinking just incase. Im going in blind if something grabs me then I might pick it up if not no worries. I just want to have a good time, not really worried about buying to much just want the experience of being there more than anything.

Another SDCC virgin getting de-virginized this summer. Enjoy!!

My first one I spent hanging around artists and didn't really know about the panels and other activities. I was just taking it all in, I was also spoiled and had a friend score me a exhibitor badge my first time. Now he no longer works there, so I'm a guest of a professional.
