Cost me about $150 delivered. The local Aussie shops wanted to charge me $300 - $350!!!!! PFFT PFFT I say!

I am sure you would be able to get it cheap from somewhere. Just have to hunt around.

Its not worth taking the laptop to the actual convention, unless your writing a blog or your one of those that need to post ASAP...A iPad would be cool if your waiting during presentation or the long lines...

I am only taking my Camera around my neck to the con itself but that back pack is to bring the laptop and all my camera stuff over to the US. so $150 is good for that but yeah stuff carrying a laptop around all day at the con!

I am actually not sure what the item is exactly. But it is a bust and Harry Potter related. I'll be asking Gentle Giant on the phone today for a bit more info. Thank you Fury. I'll let you know more when I know more.

Did you find out which potter-related piece/bust they're doing? I'm a PGM so they BETTER allow me to pre-order and pick up. ONLY reason that I fork out the $50-$60 each year. grrrrrr
