So when do we start getting our hotel room emails?

Well, you should have already received a confirmation when you reserved and made your initial payment. I don't believe that we will get any more emails. However, if you want a confirmation from the hotel, you'll need to call them about 2 weeks prior to the con. That's what I remember reading.

Yeah I got the booking confirmation but I thought they send another one close to comic con with your room number.

39 days till I start my month of holidays which includes going to SDCC .

You won't know your room number until you actually check into the hotel. But I would def call a few weeks beforehand to confirm your reservation. You do not want any surprises of that magnitude at the last minute!

In the email confirmation they said that you can call the hotel about 2 weeks prior to get a confirmation from them.

Thanks Sam/Phenix will be calling them then. I have my confirmation letters printed out so they better not stuff me around! I won't be happy after a 15 hour flight LOL

Hey all my sister was told by someone that we may have trouble taking opened bottles of water in the convention center, is this correct? Sounds like crap to me.

So if open bottles of water would be an issue, I would suspect that carrying a back pack of some sort would be an issue as well.

They've never had a problem with it before. I always walk in with a half-liter bottle, at least. And almost everyone has some sort of backpack. I usually wear cargo shorts so I don't have to carry anything...

Yeah that what I figure. Im going to be carrying a bottle of water and my camera and my back pack will be optional. Not sure on that yet, but I am going to bring one just incase.

You can bring anything in as you please. Water, Back packs, food, ect.......

I would take one large enough to fit several in but also ones that can be carried easy or slotted into a back pack. Also some prints might not fit because they're harder to roll compared to others.

There are several places that do but you'll want to bring cash.
