looks like preview night for 2011 is indeed sold out

Additionally, there's a group trying to keep SDCC in San Diego and they are reporting that during the feedback panel held on Sunday afternoon, they were told that the preview night tix for next year were sold out.

Kinda hard to believe but then again, everyone in my group of local friend and everyone else it seems got our 2011 tix on preview night while we waited for the exhibit floor to open.

It sure as hecked seemed like there was more than 15k PV folks there this year. If its it is. Wonder how that will change press passes and all that.

And if they're going to start having sellouts before general ticket sales, they need to start mailing out the tickets like Star Wars Celebration. If I go next year, I am not looking forward to picking up my ticket on Thursday with 50,000 other people. Do they do on-site registration solely for the fact that they don't want people to resell them?

My main motivation with preview night was the fact that there will be a smaller crowd and it would be easier to pick up your ticket. Plus a Freaks meet-up at the Sideshow booth.

When u pick up ur badges....they usually just ask for ur I.D. and print out ur package/ day.

But I'm not sure.....I really hope its possible...cuz that line in the next morning does not look fun.

Something tells me they're holding another 5-10k 4-day passes w/preview night for the online sale, or they'll package them with hotel rooms again.
