The most expensive thing there besides the hotel is the food. At the convention I usually don't spend that much.

I spent literally $20 on myself this past year at the Con. However, I spent at least $20 per meal while I was there. I made sure I ate good though seeing as there were no exclusives I wanted ahead of time.

Completely depends on what you're buying. Outside of food costs (and if you plan ahead, that won't be much), there are no "essentials". If you want exclusives, original art, stuff to buy in the dealer area, well then you might need some cash.

Yeah I would think there might be some exclusives and the odd thing but I would probably buy all that either the first day or like Sideshow seems to do where you pay before you go and just pick up. Was going to go with $2,000ish I'd be ok with that yeah?

Can't really buy a lot anyway as I have to bring it back to Australia.

Yeah....I think about $2000 is good since ur coming from Australia and I'm assuming that you included the flights in there.

Last time I went I spent about $350 on the flight and $120 on a hostel for all four days. I spent about $20-$30 a day on food and I spent like $100 on goodies.

$690ish total plus the ticket.

Next year might be more since the tix price went up and I won't be staying in a a hostel.(i hope )

Nah my flights are going to cost $1500AUS the $2000 is on top of that. Luckily my Sister has decided to come with me so the Hotel is only going to cost me about $1000AUS

$2k is more than enough unless your going to be buying a lot of original art. Actually, $2k is just about right if you can afford it.
